and my favorite holiday decoration is one that goes in my room. My great aunt Rubie made this for my Nanny. My mom inherited it, and then gifted it to me. I tresure it more than just about anything.
-
merry Christmas everyone. Hoping Santa fulfills everyone’s wishes! Love and hugs Candy
-
JWoo: I have one too. It was my moms and she gave it to me last year. The base is cracked and the star is broken off the top. But it holds such great memories! I called my grandmother “Nanny” too 🥰
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone!
Let me know when y’all plan to meet up again. I’ll try my best to make it.
-
Merry Christmas!
Unfortunately, somehow I am already booked every weekend in January. Not certain how I let that happen, need to pay closer attention, I guess! When and where ever you meet, have a great time.☺
-
Wishing you a healthy, joyful, and peaceful new year!
-
Echoing JWoos wishes for health, joy and peace.
-
Beaverntx, we will get together again in March, so will hopefully see you then.
How does the 19th look for everyone? And Vicki and Terri,( and anybody else thats up north)I can steal john's minivan so we can ride in comfort wherever we go. Holli- would you be up for meeting up in south Austin? Kinda the halfway point.
-
love this picture. So Jen!
-
I'm good riding in the minivan!
-
Let me check on the date. But South Austin is definately doable 💕
HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone.Holli
-
19th is empty.., Keep me posted on the details.
I need to run it by my hubby (since he’ll be watching the kiddos)... but should be ok.
-
fantastic! I'll find a place this weekend and up
-
I keep forgetting to post, now a week has gone by 🙄
you ladies can relate, I'm sure!
How does Galaxy Cafe (Brodie Lane) sound ?http://www.galaxycafeaustin.com/menu/breakfast/1130?
-
this is next Sunday right?
-
-
I'm not sure if I'll be there, but will try. My little Sister from AZ just informed me last wk that she is going to Houston to see a friend, that week-end and wants to see if we can meet somewhere while she's here....so, it's up in the air as of right now!
-
just let us know, Terri!
I hope some of y'all that we've not met yet can join us as well!
-
Holli-
just verifying that you are still able to meet on Sunday -
Hey everyone!
Candy will be in Texas in March and said her best days are 21/22. And we'll meet closer to her as she's in Killeen.
The 21st works best for me. What day works best for you?
Hope everyone is enjoying our winter/spring/summer/winterwe've been having 😂 -
Jen', Thanks for reaching out to Candy and keeping us posted! I should be available either day as of right now, but Sundays are usually slower for my work.
-
21st should be ok. Blocking my calendar!
-
thank you all for trying to meet up when I come to town. Hope to see everyone - just let me know where a do when. Hope everyone is doing well. Candy
-
hey y'all!
Something came up for me that Saturday morning, would anyone mind changing to Sunday the 22nd?And I know we will need to play things by ear, since a lot can change in 2 weeks with this pandemic. If I don't have your contact info, please PM me so we can exchange info, jic we have to cancel at the last minute, or change venue.
💜
-
Jeni
I can make it either day. Just let me know.
Candy
-
I should be ok ... as long as blood levels do t drop too much..
-
Can't make it this time, either because I have church obligations or because by then covid-19 has shut things down. Just learned NBA has suspended the season due to a player testing positive. . .
-
My youngest GD's 5th bday party is on Sunday...can't make it then. Maybe we could try Saturday afternoon/evening? If not, y'all have fun!
-
well, considering that the state and federal government has declared emergency status, as much as I hate to cancel the meetup, I think it is prudent to do so. Especially since we are all considered immune deficient to some degree.
Candy, if you are still planning to fly in, please be extra careful.
I don't know about y'all, but seasonal allergies mean I rub my eyes all day long. So "wash your hands, Roger!" As my mom used to say.
Love you all so much, and hope we can flatten the curve.
-
jwoo, likely a wise decision. And seconds on flattening the curve!
-
Safe travels Candy! Be well ladies:).
Hope to see you soon~
Terri
