    and my favorite holiday decoration is one that goes in my room. My great aunt Rubie made this for my Nanny. My mom inherited it, and then gifted it to me. I tresure it more than just about anything.

    JWoo: I have one too. It was my moms and she gave it to me last year. The base is cracked and the star is broken off the top. But it holds such great memories! I called my grandmother “Nanny” too 🥰

    Beaverntx, we will get together again in March, so will hopefully see you then.

    How does the 19th look for everyone? And Vicki and Terri,( and anybody else thats up north)I can steal john's minivan so we can ride in comfort wherever we go. Holli- would you be up for meeting up in south Austin? Kinda the halfway point.

    I'm not sure if I'll be there, but will try. My little Sister from AZ just informed me last wk that she is going to Houston to see a friend, that week-end and wants to see if we can meet somewhere while she's here....so, it's up in the air as of right now!

    Candy will be in Texas in March and said her best days are 21/22. And we'll meet closer to her as she's in Killeen.

    well, considering that the state and federal government has declared emergency status, as much as I hate to cancel the meetup, I think it is prudent to do so. Especially since we are all considered immune deficient to some degree.

    Candy, if you are still planning to fly in, please be extra careful.

    I don't know about y'all, but seasonal allergies mean I rub my eyes all day long. So "wash your hands, Roger!" As my mom used to say.

    Love you all so much, and hope we can flatten the curve.
