HaHa FF those lumps on the bed! I had a kitty once who loved it when I made the bed. She would come running when I would throw the sheets on and attack any had movement. It would take me 20 minutes to get the bed made because play time came first.
-
I have cats that do that too!! So funny!
-
Feeling feline - that's exactly what my daughter's cats do every day! When she can't find them, she just has to look for the lumps on her bed!
I love everyone's pictures. MissouriCat - I wish I could take all these kittens right now! My Maine Coon would definitely not be happy but I would love to have a bunch of babies in the house. My husband says one cat is enough. Then he said that if he goes first, he pictures me with a houseful of kitties!
-
Please show us your Maine Coon sometime, Snickersmom. My husband is the best, I have to admit, he won't even admit to liking cats, but I know he loves me, one thing being sick has taught me, one of many. Hugs, Lisa

Rah, I had a cat that would fly up on the bed when I was changing the sheets. He wanted to be made up in the bed so he would be under the fitted sheet with everything else on top. He would stay there for about 5 minutes. Used to crack me up!!
Feelingfeline, that is exactly how cats are....they know they are superior!

-
That's GREAT!
-
spookiesmom I may try that trick! Beautiful cat. Iwonder if cucumbers would work too lol
-
I’m guessing the cat doesn’t like the smell? Whatever works!!!
-
ive added tangerines to my shopping list today. Or could try this...
-
I should take a few tangerines to the shelter to see what the cats reaction would be. I have a feeling it doesn't work for all cats, although I've heard they don't like citrus smell. Perhaps making a peel ornament and putting it on the tree would work?
-
I used to put orange peels in a potted plant one of my cats used to want to scratch in. It was definitely a deterrent. I gave up on Christmas ornaments on my tree ages ago. Lights only.
-
We just leave the bottom quarter to one third undecorated, lights only.
-
The first present under the Christmas tree!!
-
I love all of the pictures! The tangerines seem like a great idea. My Snickers doesn't seem to be bothered by the citrus smell but every other cat I've ever had would run the other way as soon as I peeled an orange, etc.
MissouriCat - here's a picture of my Snickers in one of her favorite spots - basking inthe sun by the lanai door.

QT314 your Siamese is GORGEOUS! And Snickersmom love your big baby
-
I had siamese cats as a little girl. QT, yours is regal!
Snickers looks like the kind who would drape over your shoulder like a sand bag, if picked up.
No tree for me this year-- my 1 year old kitties are way too rambunctious. The one who climbs up the window panes to the top would have a field day! Ill stick with stockings!
-
Awwww, Snickers is absolutely beautiful! Kiss that kitty! and QT314, so pretty under the tree!
Many years ago, last year we had a tree, our little girl kitty got her claw stuck under the wire for the lights and just howled, it was about 5 am. My husband was trying very hard to get her free, and our Siamese kitty thought he was hurting her, and was attempting to bite him on the ankle. It was too funny! That was the last year for us.
Thank you so much for the photos - makes me smile!
-
QT313, I love, love seal point Siamese. Beautiful and darling picture.
-
My Siamese’s
official name is Willow but we cal her Schmeezl. She is 8 years old, a total lap cat and snuggles into my arms at night. I love her to bits. This is what she does when we prepare to go on holiday.

We had Siamese kitties when I was a little girl, LOVE them!

Our first kitty would jump in the suitcase to be packed, also. She went from Texas to Alaska and back again.
-
