It's three am here in UK and I'm snuggled up with my lister cat he either sleeps next to me or on me what about yours do they sleep on your bed xxx
-
Ours sleeps on the bed, but gets up during the night to tear around. After a while he gets back in bed. Then when he thinks it's time for us to get up, he attacks everything on our bedside tables.
-
My Lucy cat was famous for dabbing her paw just on the tip of your nose when she wanted you up for the day. Worked like a charm haha
-
One of my cats will try to herd me to bed, he loves the nighttime snuggles.
-

Last night I went to bed early to lie on the heating pad. Squeakers went down to the basement where DH was practicing his flute and tried to herd him upstairs. DH figured it out when he saw I was already in bed. This morning he let us sleep in rather than tear our nightstands apart.
-
The other night my cat Nadia got the crazies while it was raining hard, and she climbed up the inside of a tall window by using the stiles between the panes. She got all the way to the top and did it about 4 times! It was actually quite impressive!
-
Squeakers - love that name!! Here is a photo of the kittens. I have not gotten one call yet, I am running an ad in the paper. Going to be very cautious on who can have them, I have heard a couple of stories that I won't repeat, but are very scary.
Our son brought the dresser home without a few drawers that he still has, who would have thought a dresser without drawers would work so well for these guys.
-
You're killing me with all that kitty cuteness! They are so adorable, if I were looking for another kitty you and I would be meeting face to face
-
Love the kittens too!!! Too too cute. Such a sweet gift in this life...kittens...

They are in Russia, so grumpy looking.
-
I saw that on FB too! They are so adorably grumpy.
-
Oh Missouri those sweet little ones! Hope you find great homes for them all.
-
Rah I get claw in the mouth, or on the nose from Alannah if she thinks I have slept too long.
-
Thank you, I hope we find homes too, I ran an ad that starts today, but will be requesting references from people if I need too, they'll look at me funny probably.
I wanted to let you know my husband let their momma out of the garage yesterday, it was a warmer day with lots of sunshine. This morning, she was out their for breakfast with the father of the kittens. I was very thankful to see her! Hope everyone has a great day!
-
Are the kittens getting friendlier with you? Do they like to be petted? They are so darling... Christmas is coming up! Maybe offer to keep them till 12/24? Also, try to pitch adopting them out in pairs. Kittens have a lot of energy and it can be nice when they amuse themselves and play chase *together*... easier to have 2 than to have 1.
The biggest boost I gave myself during chemo was to adopt 2 sister kittens one year ago, just prior to my last chemo. It changed my whole mood and filled every day with laughter!
-
Santabarbarian, great idea, there are 2 that look almost exactly alike. Yes, they are getting friendlier, one is especially friendly, we have been working on it. I have a flyer up at work and was hoping someone here would ask about them. They are absolutely awesome to sit and watch, it is go-go-go, chasing each other, chasing toys, play play play, and then they nap. Napping is the best time to make friends and I try to pet all of them. I sit and talk to them when they play, so they know my voice. They love to eat!!! They enjoy turkey! The dark gray one has a tiny spot of white on his belly.
I did make an appointment for all 5 in January for spay/neuter at Pawprints on the Heartland, spay/neuter place, although my husband is not agreeing to it, but he has time to think about it. He has learned what can happen the hard way, I had tried getting their dad neutered over the summer, but on the days I made appointments, he was nowhere to be found. I cannot complain about my husband though, I have 9 cats, and he has taken care of litter boxes the entire time I was sick, and even does so now, before I get home from work. I know, in my heart, they would be happiest living with someone who had 1 or 2 cats. We will put up some flyers in some vet offices on Saturday morning. But I sure love these little guys, they are little blessings of love.
-
Haha FF, must be a little black cat thing. I so miss my Lucy's personality!
-
Hey everyone.

too Sweet!!! Squee!!!!!
-
Daylight Dancer, Great photo. My cat is black also, so I know the difficulty in getting a shot that's more than a spot of black.
-
Spookiesmom, that is hilarious!! I used to have a cat that would drink the water out of the tree stand and then about 1/2 hr later puke it all up. He Never made the connection. 😂
-
MissouriCat, those kittens are beautiful!! Such sweet faces! I hope they all go to homes like yours.
-
Thank you, I hope so too. I have flyers printed out to hang up Saturday. No calls so far. Wondering how people look at me if I were to keep them, I have 9 cats right now.....Sigh. I do love those little ones though.
I heard someone throw up this morning, saw a puddle of puke and cleaned it up. A little while later, I stepped in the bigger puddle, soaked up in my sock - didn't see that one!
-
Mo Cat Lady, Can't imagine someone won't want a kitten for Xmas. They're scarce this time of year. I'm surprised they haven't all been snapped up.
-
Oh Santabarbarian love that!
