Gardening, anyone?

I moved this from one flower bed to another but I'm not sure if it's a weed or not... do you know what it is? should I leave it or remove it? thank you!
-
By definition, a weed is an unwanted plant. If you like it enough to transplant it, it is not a weed.
-
It's pretty enough to keep. The leaves look like they could belong to a bulb. It would be worth showing a photo to a garden person to get an ID.
-
thank you both for your input !!

April,I think it could be Bachrlor Button. My mom used to have them. I love it.
Does anyone know what this green and white plant is that is now blooming little fuschia blooms(at the bottom)? I bought one of those pot fillers at Lowe’s or Walmart and it had 5 plants but didn’t list them. I thought it was so pretty with a spider plant and various green and white foliage plants and the yellow begonia. I’m really loving it with the surprise blooms on it.
-
Adding aclose up. I realized you can’t see the bloom very well in the other picture.
-
2hobbies, is it a type of succulent ?
-
I am not good at identifying plants.

I'm trying to get a hummingbird moth pic this summer. They fly during the daytime, hovering briefly at flowers to sip nectar.
The bush green bean plants are in bloom.
The scallions are delicious.
We covered the 3 grape tomato plants in the support cages with a plastic net. Damn deer!
Almost squished by a fallen apple tree limb.

Teka - gardens & planters look amazing ❤️
-
TwoHobbies, I'm not sure, but that pretty plant with the fuschia flower might be a variegated baby rose plant.
-
Yes it’s a succulent. Super52, I think you may be correct. It sure looks like that. I will be bringing it infor winter and hoping I can keep it alive in my south bay window.
Teka, do the green beans do well in containers? Your flowers are beautiful. I love those speckled petunias. I saw them at the garden center this year.
-
TwoHobbies,
Yes, the bush green bean plants are doing well in the plant boxes.
The chipmunks, red squirrels and gray squirrels don't bother the plants.
However, the chipmunks kept uncovering the seeds until sprouted. They ate none, but kept me busy!

Always have to watch where you plant things here. So far so good. I got a few wire baskets and turned them upside down over the plants that the deer like.

That is gorgeous! Is it trumpet vine?
-
Yes. It was growing all over the fence at my clients site parking area
-

Jazzy and Gumdoctor, Thank You!!
I love this tranquil thread. I spent many long winter nights scrolling through the pages.
A butterfly sipping nectar from hummingbird mint flowers.
So far no sighting of a hummingbird moth.
-
Teka - that is stellar. Lots of hummingbird moths early in the season.
The rufous hummingbirds are migrating down now. They are aggressive & chase all the others away from the backyard feeder 😁

Gorgeous photos 🤗
Here's one of my hanging pot I made this week..I love a splash of yellow to brighten my day !

Such beautiful pictures! I'm inspired to get out today in this sunny but cooler than usual August weather and do some much needed work in my gardens, which are looking a bit tired and neglected as well as sparse from all of the nibbling that a beautiful doe and her two adorable fawns have been doing all summer long!
I have never heard of a hummingbird moth, but I will have to keep my eye open for them. I Googled them and found that they are in my area, so maybe I will be fortunate enough to see one. We built our house on 11 wooded acres, so I do get to see all kinds of beautiful birds, butterflies, moths and other wildlife, including the occasional brown bear, oh my!! I have been on the lookout for any luna moths; a few summers ago there was one outside our kitchen door one night, but I have not seen one again since. It was absolutely gorgeous! The picture is not that great since it was taken through a window at night. I'd love to see one again.
-
super52, I saw this strange looking moth last year and took this picture of it with my phone... a few minutes later it was gone... i haven’t seen one since then
-
April1964, That's the same kind-the luna moth. You got a great shot of it!
