illimae:
I'm considering some jelly beans this very moment.

I like to go shopping the day AFTER any holiday and stock up at 50% off.
-
I was on vacation and we visited a candy shop, couldn’t help myself 😁

Russell Stover/Pangburn website has all the holiday stuff (boxes of thirty individually wrapped pieces Pecan Delight/Millionaires eggs as they are sold in stores) for 1/2 off. Just sayin'...This is the day after a holiday.

Someone once told me that eating 100% healthy may not make you live longer, but it will sure make it seem longer! I'm not drinking currently because I'm still in chemo and frankly it seems really unappealing, but damn it if I'm not looking forward to enjoying some rose wine over the summer! Smell the rose, ladies!

You all made me laugh today. Thank you!!!

Peanut M&Ms are my go to.
You know nuts.
Nuts are healthy.
Boy oh boy sugar does a number on my brain though. Takes me three days to detox. I’m surprised I haven’t committed a serious crime during sugar detox. And let’s not mention sugar hot flashes!

For those of us receiving unsolicited diet tips, lol
-
That is so funny!!!

Ha,ha,ha Illimae
That cracks me up

Wow, why didn't I see this thread sooner? A much needed laugh and reality check. Thank you. ❤️

Hello Ladies, I'm joining the Club here. Thanks so much for bringing some laughter to my life this morning. Yesterday I made up my mind I was ot going to let this cancer steal any more of my pleasures in eating or drinking things I enjoy, or in any other areas of my life either.
I'm going to enjoy my life for as long as I have life.

hi everyone. This post made me cry sad and happy tears. I was officially diagnosed on June 4 and surgery is coming up this week. I’m scared and yet trying to remind myself that I did nothing wrong to get this & could live years with it if I had to...although I don’t even know if that would happen. I needed some joy with my cancer because it’s here.
-
Thanks for the laughs. I might have been my healthiest ever prior to my diagnosis in February. Look at basically every risk factor and I'm ended up on the wrong side of it. Morning people have lower risk of cancer than night owls? You guessed it, I'm a morning person!
It's not my fault. It's (as I told my brother) another example of random shitty luck. It's beyond my control. So what do I still have control over? I still get to choose what I eat and drink! That beer I had with homemade pizza Friday night? You betcha, that tasted good!

I’m in Italy for two weeks being somewhat moderate, but I’m not passing up buffalo mozzarella and some glasses of wine. If it kills me, it’s worth it.
