Currently Herceptin (Trastuzumab) is administered intravenously. The good news is that in Feb. 2019 a subcutaneous injection called "Herceptin Hylecta" consisting of Herceptin plus a substance called hyaluronidase-oysk was FDA-approved in combination with Taxol as first line treatment for HER2+ MBC patients, or as a stand-alone therapy for HER2+ MBC patients who have received one or more lines of chemotherapy for their disease. The above information has been incorporated into my book, "The Insider's Guide to Metastatic Breast Cancer" which is now offered in paperback and eBook format on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/Insiders-Guide-Metastatic-Breast-Cancer/dp/179586060 X/ref=sr_1_fkmrnull_1?crid=2EL3W64I1UXA0&keywords=the+insider%27s+guide+to+ metastatic+breast+cancer&qid=1550509998&s=gateway&sprefix=insiders+guide+to +me%2Caps%2C684&sr=8-1-fkmrnull

I was waiting for this to be approved in the USA! I knew about it before my infusion center nurses did, thanks to BCO.

Any stage IV ladies getting the Herceptin injection in the USA yet
