On my onc’s request I’ve just stopped my Letrozole after 10 years. Anyone else gone down this road? I would love insight into what the body goes through as it returns to an unmedicated state

Someone will be along here soon, Silvergirl, with insights for you. I'm kinda assuming I'll be on Letrozole forever, unless my bones can't take it. I would LOVE the idea of finishing in 2022, after ten years on the drug, though. Maybe the aches/pain/stiffness would fade away, although by then I'll be quite old enough to have all those without the help of Letrozole!

I have been on an AI for almost 15 years so have no idea what it would feel like to stop taking the letrozole. I will continue taking it for as long as my bones hold up. I am too afraid to give up my security blanket.
