Update on Whitey - Some of you may remember my Survivor Kitty Whitey - I returned her to her other owner. It took her about 1 week to assimilate to being indoor-outdoor again and to get along with her long-time kitty mates, including two of her own grown kittens.
She is doing very well and is a true Survivor. I truly believe God used one of His miracles to save her life.
Other owner plans to move out of state in a couple months. At that time, Whitey will be fully mine. Yay!!!

Or you can place a hand towel on top of the decoy fabric. You know, a 1mm "higher" spot to sit.....

Took 16-yr old (April birthday) Max to vet with symptoms...braced myself for bad (worst) news...
All but his kidney function (slight BUN elevation) came back fine. They do not know what is causing his symptoms and are not concerned yet. Slight change in kidney function seems to be expected for older kitties.
So I likely will get to have some more time with my favorite kitty of my life.

One of my cats would wait until the pattern pieces were pined to the fabric, then take a flying leap to enjoy the noise. She really enjoyed it! Needless to say she ended up in the bathroom while I cut out the garment.
-
Spookie that is genius.
-
I have found with my cats that they won’t let me stitch any of my plastic canvas projects without attacking my yarn. It’s absolutely comical to try and stitch while fending off the cats.
-
Gumdoctor so glad Whitey is doing well and will have her forever home with you in a month or so. And also glad Max is ok, just elderly. He is a beautiful fellow! Those markings are so unique! And so typical of a cat to lay on the table so everyone can notice them ha

Merlin is gorgeous! I do so love black kitties!

A cat I met recently love
-
I love those hairless cats, too! Frankly, I love them all!

The grandkitten’s name is Charles, aka Charlie, Buttons. I’ve been watching him so he doesn’t have long days by himself, since he is just eight weeks old. Plays hard and takes long naps.Starting to get into trouble by using a chair as a scratching post so working on stopping that and is responding to his name.

Oh Kathindc
-
oh Kath completely, totally adorable!
Gumdoctor such good news about Max, and what a handsome love of your life he is. Whitey's recovery is truly miraculous. Bet you can't wait to have her fully moved in with you.

The shelter had the perfect cat - playful, lap sitter, purrs at the drop of a hat - but he had diabetes. I heard yesterday that one of the shelter volunteers adopted him. Wonderful news! His name is Cheezy.
-
Yay for Cheezy!
-
Thirsty bad kitty.
