I am so sorry... His picture is adorable! Losing them is painful. My baby Merlot is by my side more than my DH in this fight. She was not leaving me more than 5 minutes after my oophorectomy . Cats are wonderful, they value their freedom and that is the misunderstood part. Often Dog people think cats are not as loyal as dogs. So wrong!😻🙀😾

There is something so much sweeter about a cat's devotion. It is not stupid/programmed devotion. It is optional!! Therefore when it happens it feels very meaningful.

Your picture is awesome, love your cats! But that's not it, you also have such pretty hair🤩😻

I couldn't agree more! So true!
-
A couple of buddies from high school sent me these. Had to share! Lol
-

my beauties are here w me in the hotel, while I finish up radiation
They actually fell asleep like this, mid "fight"... I love Nadia's foot being Simone's headrest:
-
Santabarbarian those are pretty kitties! So glad they are with you for your treatments. Love the mid fight shot!
-
Beautiful!
-
wonderfull that you had your kitties with you! ❤️🐈
-
Santa, those babies are beautiful. There is nothing to compare the love and devotion of a fur baby
-
Ailurophile, I agree 100% about the devotion of cats (Xena just jumped up next to me). Just before I had my hysterectomy eight years ago, my husband brought home a new kitten (our Lucy). She spent my recovery either tucked in next to me on the bed or resting under the bed. So loyal!

I had my 2nd surgery last week, to remove the tissue expanders and put the final implants in. It shouldn't have been a big deal, but I live alone and apparently caught a bug (sore throat/ cough) while I was in the hospital, so I've been mostly in bed, feeling kind of miserable until a few days ago. But thankfully I have my two kitties with me, the ultimate cheerer-uppers! Both of them insisted on sleeping curled up right on or next to me, as close as they could get. Below is my Dobby with one of his favorite "mice."
-
I don't know if you can tell, but Dobby is a small-ish boy, only about 8 lbs, compared to Piper, who is a big, floofy girl! Here's Piper, chasing fishies on my computer...
-
Ah Fairchild how beautiful Piper and Dobby both are! Very glad that they were with you doing your recuperation .
-
-
Elliott always chases the cursor on my screen. Bet he would love the fishies.

I'm a huge Henri fan. They had a cat video fest here which was very popular. But then, Henri's photographer is from here.
-
Love Henri! I’m sure his owner does justice to the other cats he features in his film fest. 🐈🐈🐈😹
-
feline - What a lovely photo of Elliott. Like your chair and decor!

I just wanted to post a picture of my dear kitty, Baby. She was a rescue and I was supposed to foster her for a few days...well that grew into 13 years. I do so miss her. Funny, I wasn't so sure about a black cat and now I love them all. All back, tuxedo's and black and white. It's been about 3 years now. She was just great.
-
Cowgirl, Some cats are beyond amazing. We never forget them. Baby looks so soft! You can almost smell the sun-warm fur smell!
-
Cowgirl - No matter how long we have had with them, they are still missed. (By the way, I visit a good friend in Pacifica. Whereabouts in SF area are you? PM me if you do not want to share this here.)
-
RIP Baby
May you meet again in heaven.
-
Thanks for your kind words and understanding. It really helps.
-
Cowgirl your Baby was beautiful! So sorry you have lost her but so glad you had her in your life. I lost my beloved Lucy last year and she was all black except for a little bit of white business on her stomach. Just enough to be sassy. ha
