Neuropathy when does it end treatment will it ever go away?

Options

anyone on a break from chemo because of neuropathy? I’m on my third line of treatment it was working and now my feet are burning 🥵 I’m probably going to stop for awhile or possibly try another treatment

    You don't mention which treatment you are on but you could also try lowering the dose. I don't have neuropathy yet from my Halaven. Not sure what my onc will suggest if/when it gets bad.

    Quality of life is important. You don't need to 'put up' with anything you don't want to. Switching treatments or taking a break sounds like a really good idea to me.

    I am also curious what treatment you are on. Side effects consistently get worse on some treatments, where as for others, symptoms may be worse in the beginning or may be cyclical with tough times, followed by recovery, repeat. I have found that daily Vitamin B complex drops under my tongue help significantly. Activity/exercise (within your own limits of what you can do) as well as massage also help. Also, consider icing your feet and hands during infusions if you are taking IV chemo to prevent the neuropathy all together.
