Dear Lord thank you for guiding me to this board and to the true heroes in my life..I have learned so much here...Much about life,ups and downs,strength,courage,love and friendship...God bless all of you here on the boards....Patti

Ladies please pray for John who is a friend of Barb;s(Sacchi)daughter...He is battling leukemia and is very sick...This is his third go round with this crippling disease....Dear Lord please help John as he journey's through his illness...Please let the chemo drugs bring this young man into remission...

To all of my dear friends thank you so much for the beautiful and uplifting prayers and postings..I encourage anyone visitng this thread to post...Please feel free to post prayers,inspiration,poems or any special request ions..Everyone is welcome here...Thanks to all of my friends who help keep this prayer chain alive...And to my co-poster MJB!!! Ladies please help us pray for Stacy's oncologist baby who has cancer and being treated with adriamyicin...Her name is Zoe.....Prayer to Saint Peregrine
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to
the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying)

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen

Our special prayers go out to Wendy who will have surgery today at 2:30pm EST and her friend Deb who has a biopsy coming up .To Ruth who is back in hospital,to Patti who is bouncing back from her last treatment .

We can't do that when we're stuck, and women do get stuck , a self destructive holding pattern . Women pray because we need to talk to someone who's really listening . I offer prayers to Almighty God for the many newbies on our sight . I pray ever thing goes well for them. I pray the number gets less and less as each day goes by . The sisters who are going through treatment may they find peace ,strength and comfort in God . Sisters who have a recurrence , God help them find hope and peace of mind . The sisters who are finally finished ,help them to overcome the fear of recurrence, give them courage to forge ahead and live their life in Christ . I most humbly ask to help the doctors to finally find a cure for this beast , I ask in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord .Amen

I would like to also pray for the husbands , boyfriends , fathers , wives , mothers , girlfriends and all the men and women of the military who have choosen the career in life to defend our Countries . May they all come back to us in health and peace of mind . I pray their stay overseas will be short lived defeating the evil that excess in this world .

I offer prayers to Almighty God for the many newbies on our sight . I pray ever thing goes well for them. I pray the number gets less and less as each day goes by . The sisters who are going through treatment may they find peace ,strength and comfort in God . Sisters who have a recurrence , God help them find hope and peace of mind . The sisters who are finally finished ,help them to overcome the fear of recurrence, give them courage to forge ahead and live their life in Christ . I most humbly ask to help the doctors to finally find a cure for this beast , I ask in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord .Amen

I would like to also pray for the husbands , boyfriends , fathers , wives , mothers , girlfriends and all the men and women of the military who have choosen the career in life to defend our Countries . Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Just wanted to report my good news--My bone scan was negative!!!! Praise the LORD! Thank you all for the prayers--the last couple days I have struggled to keep the fear away and give this all to God. Knowing that I had the prayers of others really helped! I pray you all have a beautiful Christmas and experience the pure peace and joy of Christ the King. Through Him all things are possible! May God Bless each of you.

I offer prayers to Almighty God for the many newbies on our sight . I pray ever thing goes well for them. I pray the number gets less and less as each day goes by . The sisters who are going through treatment may they find peace ,strength and comfort in God . Sisters who have a recurrence , God help them find hope and peace of mind . The sisters who are finally finished ,help them to overcome the fear of recurrence, give them courage to forge ahead and live their life in Christ . I most humbly ask to help the doctors to finally find a cure for this beast , I ask in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord .Amen

I would like to also pray for the husbands , boyfriends , fathers , wives , mothers , girlfriends and all the men and women of the military who have choosen the career in life to defend our Countries . The sisters who are going through treatment may they find peace ,strength and comfort in God . Sisters who have a recurrence , God help them find hope and peace of mind . The sisters who are finally finished ,help them to overcome the fear of recurrence, give them courage to forge ahead and live their life in Christ . I most humbly ask to help the doctors to finally find a cure for this beast , I ask in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord .Amen

I would like to also pray for the husbands , boyfriends , fathers , wives , mothers , girlfriends and all the men and women of the military who have choosen the career in life to defend our Countries . MY HUSBAND AN I ARE BOTH THRILLED . I THINK I MIGHT HAVE MENTIONED , LAST CHRISTMAS SHE MET HER HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEART WHO IS WORKING IN IRVINE , CALF., THE RELATIONSHIP STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN AND THIS IS THE RESULT . Ladies please pray for John who is a friend of Barb;s(Sacchi)daughter...He is battling leukemia and is very sick...This is his third go round with this crippling disease....Dear Lord please help John as he journey's through his illness...Please let the chemo drugs bring this young man into remission...

I offer prayers to Almighty God for the many newbies on our sight . I pray ever thing goes well for them. I pray the number gets less and less as each day goes by . The sisters who are going through treatment may they find peace ,strength and comfort in God . Sisters who have a recurrence , God help them find hope and peace of mind . The sisters who are finally finished ,help them to overcome the fear of recurrence, give them courage to forge ahead and live their life in Christ . I most humbly ask to help the doctors to finally find a cure for this beast , I ask in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord .Amen

I would like to also pray for the husbands , boyfriends , fathers , wives , mothers , girlfriends and all the men and women of the military who have choosen the career in life to defend our Countries . May they all come back to us in health and peace of mind . I pray their stay overseas will be short lived defeating the evil that excess in this world .

WHAT A BLAST IT WAS , THEY EVEN HAD FIREWORKS AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF WHEN MY DAUGHTER ARRIVED HOME THIS MORNING SHE HAD AN ENGAGEMENT RING ON HER FINGER , WE WERE EXPECTING IT BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHEN . MY HUSBAND AN I ARE BOTH THRILLED . I THINK I MIGHT HAVE MENTIONED , LAST CHRISTMAS SHE MET HER HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEART WHO IS WORKING IN IRVINE , CALF., THE RELATIONSHIP STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN AND THIS IS THE RESULT . WE ARE SO HAPPY FOR THEM , BOTH FAMILIES . IT HAS BEEN 13 YEARS SINCE THEY DATED , WHAT EVER WILL BE WILL BE . HE IS LOOKING FOR A TRANSFER BACK TO CANADA . HAVE A GREAT DAY LADIES . MJB

Today is the day the post-holiday blues usually drop in for their annual visit. After any strenuous exertion, especially one that's lasted several weeks, there's a natural letdown in energy and enthusiasm. "The life in us is like the water in a river, it rises, even floods , but then it recedes until it finds its true level."

To make matters even worse , your're probably not felling very well.When this happens we need to remember to treat ourselves kindly , there must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them . I pray your energy and enthusiasm will return . Keep the faith and onward we go . We are survivors and will be survivors of Breast Cancer . Be safe . Go well. MJB

Ladies please pray for John who is a friend of Barb;s(Sacchi)daughter...He is battling leukemia and is very sick...This is his third go round with this crippling disease....Dear Lord please help John as he journey's through his illness...Please let the chemo drugs bring this young man into remission...

Today is the day the post-holiday blues usually drop in for their annual visit. After any strenuous exertion, especially one that's lasted several weeks, there's a natural letdown in energy and enthusiasm. "The life in us is like the water in a river, it rises, even floods , but then it recedes until it finds its true level."

To make matters even worse , your're probably not felling very well.When this happens we need to remember to treat ourselves kindly , there must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them . I pray your energy and enthusiasm will return . Keep the faith and onward we go . We are survivors and will be survivors of Breast Cancer . Be safe . Go well. MJB

MY HUSBAND AN I ARE BOTH THRILLED . I THINK I MIGHT HAVE MENTIONED , LAST CHRISTMAS SHE MET HER HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEART WHO IS WORKING IN IRVINE , CALF., THE RELATIONSHIP STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN AND THIS IS THE RESULT . Today is the day the post-holiday blues usually drop in for their annual visit. After any strenuous exertion, especially one that's lasted several weeks, there's a natural letdown in energy and enthusiasm. "The life in us is like the water in a river, it rises, even floods , but then it recedes until it finds its true level."

To make matters even worse , your're probably not felling very well.When this happens we need to remember to treat ourselves kindly , there must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them . I pray your energy and enthusiasm will return . Keep the faith and onward we go . We are survivors and will be survivors of Breast Cancer . Be safe . Go well. MJB

Today is the day the post-holiday blues usually drop in for their annual visit. After any strenuous exertion, especially one that's lasted several weeks, there's a natural letdown in energy and enthusiasm. "The life in us is like the water in a river, it rises, even floods , but then it recedes until it finds its true level."

To make matters even worse , your're probably not felling very well.When this happens we need to remember to treat ourselves kindly , there must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them . More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of. Because it's not good for women to be silent , we need to get real life off our chests . We can't do that when we're stuck, and women do get stuck , a self destructive holding pattern . Women pray because we need to talk to someone who's really listening . SORRY FOR NOT POSTING THIS MORNING , WE WERE AT MY NEIGHBOR'S SONS WEDDING NEW YEAR'S EVE AND ARRIVED HOME LATE OR MIGHT I SAY EARLY THIS MORNING . WHAT A BLAST IT WAS , THEY EVEN HAD FIREWORKS AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF WHEN MY DAUGHTER ARRIVED HOME THIS MORNING SHE HAD AN ENGAGEMENT RING ON HER FINGER , WE WERE EXPECTING IT BUT DIDN'T KNOW WHEN . MY HUSBAND AN I ARE BOTH THRILLED . I THINK I MIGHT HAVE MENTIONED , LAST CHRISTMAS SHE MET HER HIGHSCHOOL SWEETHEART WHO IS WORKING IN IRVINE , CALF., THE RELATIONSHIP STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN AND THIS IS THE RESULT . WE ARE SO HAPPY FOR THEM , BOTH FAMILIES . IT HAS BEEN 13 YEARS SINCE THEY DATED , WHAT EVER WILL BE WILL BE . HE IS LOOKING FOR A TRANSFER BACK TO CANADA . HAVE A GREAT DAY LADIES . MJB

Today is the day the post-holiday blues usually drop in for their annual visit. After any strenuous exertion, especially one that's lasted several weeks, there's a natural letdown in energy and enthusiasm. "The life in us is like the water in a river, it rises, even floods , but then it recedes until it finds its true level."

To make matters even worse , your're probably not felling very well.When this happens we need to remember to treat ourselves kindly , there must be quite a few things a hot bath won't cure, but I don't know many of them . I pray your energy and enthusiasm will return . Keep the faith and onward we go . We are survivors and will be survivors of Breast Cancer . Be safe . Go well. MJB

I offer prayers to Almighty God for the many newbies on our sight . I pray ever thing goes well for them. I pray the number gets less and less as each day goes by . The sisters who are going through treatment may they find peace ,strength and comfort in God . Sisters who have a recurrence , God help them find hope and peace of mind . The sisters who are finally finished ,help them to overcome the fear of recurrence, give them courage to forge ahead and live their life in Christ . I most humbly ask to help the doctors to finally find a cure for this beast , I ask in the name of Jesus Christ or Lord .Amen Be safe Go well. MJB

Many women today feel a sadness we cannot name.Though we accomplish much of what we set out to do , we sense that something is missing in our lives and ----fruitlessly -----search "out there" for the answers.
