Morning Prayer for Saturday
Dear Lord we thank you for our many blessings and ask for you to guide us through our journey..We also ask for faith,hope,courage,healing and knowledge and most of all patience to endure our treatments......
Ladies please remember Catherine's friend Pat who passed away yesterday....
To all of my dear friends thank you so much for the beautiful and uplifting prayers and postings..I encourage anyone visitng this thread to post...Please feel free to post prayers,inspiration,poems or any special request ions..Everyone is welcome here...Thanks to all of my friends who help keep this prayer chain alive...And to my co-poster MJB!!! Thanks so much!!!And to all of the special people who post here........Bless you all....
Ladies please say special prayers for Hilde's husband who is in Iraq ...Dear Lord please watch over Hilde's husband and bring him home to Hilde safe and sound and soon...

PRAYER FOR MY DAUGHTER JENNIFER FOR STRENTH TO HAVE TO GET OVER THIS HURRLE AND FOR GOD'S PRESOUIS HEALING HAND ON ANDREW MICHAEL THAT HE WILL GROW INTO A FINE YOUNG MEN AND MAKE HIS MOMMY SO VERY PROUD.

Our friend vickyc had PET and MUGA scans done and the fantastic results were NO ADNORMAL CELLS NOTED , We Thank you Lord . We also ask you ladies for prayers of courage ,strength and peace of mind as vickyc faces 9 months of chemo and the myriad of side effects that go with it .
Special prayers go out to anyone having surgery,chemo,test,waiting for test results,newly diagnosed,having a rough day,and feeling just down and out....
Dear Lord please help Pauline she is having a terrible time with her nails .
Dear Ladies please remember Gracie's daughter Marcie in your prayers as well as her daughter-in-law Katie who will be having surgery tomorrow...Dear Lord we pray for Katie who is having surgery tomorrow and pray that she will have a speedy recovery...WE also pray for Marcie who is about to complete radiation and has had a tought time of it lately...We also pray for our friend Gracie and pray that she is comforted with calmness and strength..

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called "The Mighty," "The Wonder-Worker," because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to
the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you.
(Pause here and silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying)
Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen

I am watching a program on CBC this morning it is called "Angela's Story" it is a heart renching story of one woman's battle with BREAST CANCER ,it really hit home .
Today I pray for all my sisters , world wide , I pray for rest for your tired bodies , laughter , quiet times , a simple hug from someone you love and happiness . "The thirst after happiness is never extinguished in the heart of women".Have a blessed Sunday and remember we are the heroes of our own story . Dear Friends,
When we are down and out and feel there is no one to turn to, let us go to Jesus. Let us remember how this man came down here on our earth and suffered and died for each of us. Before he left us He promised He would be with us.He took bread and broke it and told us to remember Him. His body was broken, just like ours have been. He knows how we feel. He wants us to come to Him and receive His peace. He promises never to leave us or forsake us. Jesus -there is power in His name. Call upon Him and believe with all your heart that He is there with you, just as the air you breathe.
Oh Jesus, our friend and comforter, look upon all my sister's suffering with cancer and assure them of your constant love for them. Help them to surrender all their sorrows to You and find that rest that only You can give. That peace in their heart and that assurance that if they walk with You, there is a home in heaven after this life is over. All praise goes to You!

I am watching a program on CBC this morning it is called "Angela's Story" it is a heart renching story of one woman's battle with BREAST CANCER ,it really hit home .
Today I pray for all my sisters , world wide , I pray for rest for your tired bodies , laughter , quiet times , a simple hug from someone you love and happiness . "The thirst after happiness is never extinguished in the heart of women".Have a blessed Sunday and remember we are the heroes of our own story . Our friend vickyc had PET and MUGA scans done and the fantastic results were NO ADNORMAL CELLS NOTED , We Thank you Lord . We also ask you ladies for prayers of courage ,strength and peace of mind as vickyc faces 9 months of chemo and the myriad of side effects that go with it .
Special prayers go out to anyone having surgery,chemo,test,waiting for test results,newly diagnosed,having a rough day,and feeling just down and out....

I am watching a program on CBC this morning it is called "Angela's Story" it is a heart renching story of one woman's battle with BREAST CANCER ,it really hit home .
Today I pray for all my sisters , world wide , I pray for rest for your tired bodies , laughter , quiet times , a simple hug from someone you love and happiness . "The thirst after happiness is never extinguished in the heart of women".Have a blessed Sunday and remember we are the heroes of our own story . Ladies please pray for John who is a friend of Barb;s(Sacchi)daughter...He is battling leukemia and is very sick...This is his third go round with this crippling disease....Dear Lord please help John as he journey's through his illness...Please let the chemo drugs breing this young man itno remission...

Dear Lord, I ask you to bless all these wonderful women. Surround them with your love and strength, so that they may enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving with their families and loved ones. May we all be thankful for the support of our friends and families and as we travel to gather for Thanksgiving. May the Lord send his angels to watch over us wherever we go.

Thank you so much for keeping John in your prayers. He's still fighting. He was first diagnosed his junior year of high school, he had a recurrence last year (freshman at Geneseo College), and now he's fighting it again. Thank you for your prayers!

I was scanning the website this morning and I see some of you ladies are burning the midnight oil, I remember those days vividly. I found there was always one or two here to talk all the time . All of our sisters give of their time so lovingly .This morning I would like to share the words of a Cancer Sister :

Dear Lord we thank you for our many blessings and ask for you to guide us through our journey..We also ask for faith,hope,courage,healing and knowledge and most of all patience to endure our treatments......
May we always be ever greatful to our family ,friends, and all of those who walk through our journey with us ..
Ladies please pray for John who is a friend of Barb;s(Sacchi)daughter...He is battling leukemia and is very sick...This is his third go round with this crippling disease....Dear Lord please help John as he journey's through his illness...Please let the chemo drugs bring this young man into remission...
