    Welcome CaliMom, Munmunmary, and Freebee! Queen bee-Glad to hear about good path reports! I should get mine tomorrow.

    Calimom-My drain site itches like crazy too! Didn’t before a couple days ago either. Maybe that means it’s healing?

    HPFULL-DH went to Walmart and I had him get me the front-hook sports bra ( I think you were the one who mentioned those...) in a size bigger than I would normally wear and it is so much better than having nothing on under my clothes. It actually hurts less to have my foobs contained a little!

    the just pushed my Oncotype test results back to “possibly” Friday. I was supposed to have the results last Thursday

    HLPFLL - I know how frustrating it is to wait for those results - we are here and will keep positive thoughts for you!

    Mary - back to work sounds kind of awesome - good for you! Congrats on getting back to it - I am sure you will adjust back into it quickly!

    Misha - I do think that itching is typically a positive sign. Mine also didn't start to itch until a week ago - maybe the anesthesia and other local meds take a week or so to completely wear off of the drain areas. Ask your doctor if you can use OTC Hydrocortisone outside/around the drain areas - it helps!

    Thinking positive thoughts for your pathology results today, Misha!!

    Kids (17 and 11) are back to school today, and it is making me feel like I should be working or exercising or something. Does anyone else feel like they want to do more now (I am 2.5 weeks post)? The surgeon's office told me on Friday that they still don't want me to do more than very leisurely (not even moderate!) walking to avoid raising my heart rate and sending too much blood to the healing areas.

    oh HPFULL I’m so sorry. I’ll get my results next Tuesday, so I’ve been waiting awhile too. I’m trying to look at this wait as a time to be blissfully unaware of what lies in my future...I think I’m going to hit a big hard wall when I go to my appointment though since it’ll be chemo or tamoxifen. I’m scared of both honestly!

    Regarding itching...mine was worst at 2 weeks post surgery. At 4.5 weeks, I have no itching! Hang in there ladies!

    I went back to work last week for a couple days and did a half day today. I have someone from Cleaning for a Reason doing my house this afternoon and I’m resting. I hope to exercise later today. I find that I can’t work and exercise in the same day. That’s going to have to change.

    I wanted to exercise after 1-2 weeks. I was given the clear to do most things (no pushups, butterfly swim or weight bearing on arms) at 4 weeks. I started walking 1-2 miles slowly without swinging arms at 2 weeks. I did 3,5 miles this past Saturday and then was exhausted on Sunday.

    For MX/recon girls...I’m in love with the Soma embraceable wireless bra. I have bought at least 10 different bras trying to find one that doesn’t suffocate me or make my implants feel like they are squished. My PS wants me in a bra at all times except at night (then I get to have a cami). The soma one is great and I actually look pretty cute in it 😊. Everyone is different so try before you buy but thought I’d throw out the recommendation! Oh...and my bra size is so different now even though I’m similar in appearance as before BMX. I was a 34 A/B and now I’m a 32DD or 34D. Weird, weird, weird.

    RCCali...sit back with me today and relax. Walk a little bit (slowly). Too much too soon can’t do you any good. I’m blissfully in my recliner after working a half day...kids are back in school...someone is cleaning my house...and not feeling one bit guilty. Have you watched bird box yet? 😂. Always something good on Netflix or Hulu!

    OMG Wigging2000. Great minds think alike. I was having so much trouble with the bottom band rubbing on my incision since my incision is along the fold (goldilocks method) so I went in search of another and found heaven at Soma.

    These are AMAZING and have more support than you might think and they are PRETTY! I do say they have helped me to start to like my new foobs.

    Wigging - done! I am currently relaxing and watching tv while answering emails. Your day sounds awesome - yay!! We did see Birdbox - so good!! We also watched the Jack Ryan series on Prime - that was great. Now looking for a new series, if anyone has any recommendations...

    My TE boob really does look like a rectangular brick, but today the skin and nipple look really good - no more bruising or scabbing - looks like healthy skin, so that's a plus!

    Hi Ladies. Happy Monday :)

    Thanks for the perspective regarding the waiting wigging it's definitely a good way yo look at it. Yes I am not looking forward to Tamoxifen or the chemo  ( if it happens). The lab stated that they need to run additional tests for accuracy so my mind is getting the best of me.

    Part of me wants to go back to work, but the way our company guide lines are, if I need to go out again for chemo or radiation I would have to start the leave process again and use a bunch of my vacation days which I have been banking for a big family trip to Hawaii in June. I really don't want to use them for cancer as I don't consider cancer a "vacation" lol.

    Misha, I hope you got good news to day as far a results :) 

    I started using silicon tape one my bottom incision that goes to my back. Not sure if you guys are okayed by the doctor to use, but it has been a godsend and completely eliminates any friction and also is supposed to make the scars/incision heal nicely.

    Calimom I know it's hard to not do all the things we normally do when we feel good :)

    I haven't seen birdbox yet. I love Ozark, and Blue Planet ll

    Misha- I’m so sorry to hear this news. You’ve already been through so much more than many of us, and you’re such a warrior. I feel like I’ve been kicked in the stomach for you. What is your next step? Did you find out at your appointment today? This totally sucks, and it’s not fair, and you cry all you need to. You will get through whatever is next!

    Misha, I am so sorry to hear your news. I just joined this board after reading the posts from everyone yesterday. I so admire the strength and courage of all the people traveling this road, but I am also so saddened by the sheer number of people on these boards, and in every waiting room.

    Mariett, I see you had re-excision after mastectomy. I had to have the same thing for close margins , and also had the impression it was unusual. The re-excision was 2.5 weeks ago and I am still having significant swelling in that area. It is making the sutures pull tight. I am not surprised as the biopsy caused a large hematoma, and they had to go back in the night of my mastectomy for some bleeding too. I am glad I had it done while I was already recovering anyway, but it has pushed me back some.

    Oh Misha my heart hurts for you! I can’t believe it. You have had such a long road already. You are strong, positive, and a fighter. Cry all you need to . Hopefully this is just a small bump in the road. What did the doctor say as far as next steps? Sending you love, light, and hugs.

    Thanks all for the thoughts and gentle hugs!

    Unfortunately it was the breast surgeon who gave me the path results and he didn’t really explain them other than to say how sorry he was that the 7 nodes had cancer.

    I am waiting for two calls-one from the MO and one from the RO to get scheduled and move forward. I know I will feel better once I have a plan. I’m just devastated because I was planning on letting this go and focusing on actually getting better, but now I feel like I’m back at square one. I think this also makes me stage III, so I’ve spent hours on here looking that up.

    Misha, of all the wonderful women I've come to care about on this board, you've been on my heart throughout all this mess. DAMN!!! I'm so very sorry. Cry as much as you need to. Laugh hysterically once or twice. Then know that we are thinking of and praying for you. Close your eyes and feel our hugs. We're here for you.

    Hi SuQu31, my re excision went well and got the results last week. There were more cancer cells but my margins are now clear so I am happy my surgeon could do the re excision. I am starting chemo tomorrow, hoping my side effects aren't to bad 🤞

    Mariett, I hope you will let us know how it goes and my best wishes that you don’t have bad side effects. They found no cancer in the re-excision tissue, and my BS confirmed yesterday that I will not need radiation or chemo. I am very happy about this good news, but it is hard to see so many who have not been as fortunate so far. Hugs to all of you strong women

    Morning, everyone! When are all of the ladies with TEs completing their fills and getting exchange surgery? I just saw my surgeon and we are scheduling my exchange surgery for early to mid March. She is also going to liposuction a bit of fat and graft it to the shallow parts of the upper breast. Is anyone else going to have implants plus fat grafting? It is crazy to be less than 3 weeks out of the mast/te surgery and realizing that I will be back in surgery again before I can even get back into the gym!
