I will be adding a morning prayer chain for all of us starting today..Please feel free to join in and pray ...
Morning Prayer
Dear Lord as we start our morning please come to our aid
We call upon you with all of thy heart
At dawn we cry to you
We put our hope and faith and hearts in your word
At night we ponder your words
In your mercy Lord,hear our voice and in your justice give us life and restored health
Help us to make juddgements according to the guidance of our hearts
As you send us your wisdom Lord
May the Lord bless all of us and keep us from harm
Comfort us with thy faith and hope
And give us the strength to cope with each day
Amen...

Thanks Patti, whews glad i found the thread again... being part Native American only 1/8 i have learned many ways in which the Native americans pray to Creator. One Prayer which i just love is called the morning Star prayer... the Morning star is the point in time, that one second when the sun rises over the horizon and it spreads the sunlight into a shooting star , the sun beams form a star it really is quite beautiful to see and It is at that moment that the Morning Star Prayer is said ... it is a simply but powerful prayer . It simply Thanks Creator for allowing one to greet another day and it askes for Creators presence and guidence for that day. Thank you again for this thread it helps me end my nights in peace & prayer and now too it shall help me start them in prayer, with care & comfort thanks... ((((( hugs )))))) God Bless ~Caro~

Dear Beach Cottage For Us,
God bless you for your prayer for others. I believe that there is power when we call upon the name of Jesus. He is the healer and the restorer of our souls and our lives are in His hands. When we turn over our lives to Him we can be assured that He is a faithful friend who will be right there and walk through the firey trials with us.
He tells us to "Come all you who are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me for I am meek and humble of heart and you will find rest for your souls."
In the power and name of Jesus, may all of you find strength as you walk the road of suffering because He went before all of us and has left us an example. No one else has been crucified on a cross for us, no other man has laid down his life for us, and no other man has risen from the dead and now lives to intercede for us like Jesus. May we lift Him up and receive His healing power in our lives. And may we never lose the hope that we have after this life is over, we have heaven-forever to be in His holy presence. How do I know all this? By faith but also I see lives changed by His power and people who were once lost with no direction, doors opened for them. Prayer is powerful because the Lord hears every word we say and He will answer us!

TAKE 2. , that was odd my puter self posted a short post ... Patti thank you again for this thread and all your prayers ... and i'd like to also thank Sandy for her beautiful writiing and her post. It will be a comfort to read your words Sandy, as it is with all the wonderful ladies and people who post on this thread. Today i'm waiting to hear from My doctor i'm waiting for his phone call as i write. i'm praying that the doctors game plan hasn't changed ... i received a letter that a lumpectomy is scheduled on the large mass ... i hope the mri i just had on thurs. hasn't changed and the second site just needs a mri biop cause if it has grown and the second site will be upgraded to warrant a 1/4 mastectomy ??? posting and in prayer as i wait ... ~ Jesus said "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; Trust also in me" John 14:1 ...May God Bless all the people on breatcaner.org and their family & friends, ~caro~

your timing is perfect . I will take all the prayers I can get today I'm on the way to the hospital for a bone scan because of the pain in my left rib (same side as lumpectomy) . You are such a warm and caring lady and I know the ladies on this site appreciate your numerous prayers .

Awsome prayer. Oh how well I know how prayer works. I was in the hospital last week for 3 days pondering God's love for me. I had water in the sack of my heart. I saw his love in a gentleman who did the ultresound of my heart his name was Vincent and so caring he was. In the nurses that talked to me and told me I would be just fine. And the best part I got out of my hospital in time to go to the hospital where my daughter gave birth to her 4th child a little boy who they named Andrew Michael. When his eyes met my eyes I saw God's awsome love for me and my family. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

I pray for my sisters everyday. In fact at church I have a little saying for prayer requests "FOR ALL MY SISTERS ON MY BREAST CANCER BOARD" Pastor Debbie even put that in when I am not there. -
So sorry Patti but I was not done and hit the wrong button.
I was just wondering if the ladies would say a special prayer for a canine friend of mine. Her name is Annie and she is my 4 grandkids dog. Well this past Sunday evening I let her out and she broke lose and ran from me I screamed for her to come back but it was to late. She got hit all she has is a deep cut on her left rear leg and praise God no broken bones. I felt so bad I cried all night long. I know she is just a dog but you must understand that 3 of my 4 (Andrew was just born on 09/11/03)grandkids were my rock when I was going though treatment. I focused on them and not me and I made it though all the treatments. Even Annie would come up and keep me company.

Hi Patti , just wanted to let you know that this thread and the night thread has helped keep me from losing it. I've been so depressed and feeling so isolated,i haven't been able to post anything ... i have just been waiting for my pre op tests date to get here and today it is here ... Finally, then after today i'll have to wait until tuesday the 2nd of Oct for the lumpectomy ... i guess i should give thanks for these days and try to enjoy them ... today is my fourth month anniversery Of being Married ... thanks for keeping me in your prayers, as all the wonderful ladies on breatcancer.org have been in mine ...(((healing hugs ))))) 4 all God Bless ~Caro~

Special prayers go out to our friend Pauline who will be having her third round of chemo tomorrow..The last experieince was a nightmare and we pray for a smooth and uneventful third round..You are amazing Pauline right back up on that horse you go!!! You give strength and courage a new meaning and are a great source of strength to all.....Dear Lord please give Pauline comfort and calmness as she prepares for tomorrow.................

has her first oncologist visit today..She needs some support and comfort right now as she ventures through this day....Dear Lord please Give Caro the strength and guidance to get through this time....Caro happy 4 month anniversary.....
Sharon(Sherilee) thanks for remembering us all in your church prayers....I am so sorry about your granchildrens dog Annie and we we will be praying for the little pouch as well as you and your grandchildren....I owe you a huge appology...I was re-reading this thread today and noticed that I missed your post of the 16th where you posted that you had been hospitalized for three days with fluid around your heart....I am so sorry that I missed your post.Must be the chemo brain thing!!!!!..I hope you are on the mend and will say a specail prayer today.....
