Hlarson,
I have no experience with a pill form of Cytoxin. I just could not see such a post with no responses. Having mets in a new locations is such a gut-wrencher. I hope that you have a support system around you that can help you with your new realities.
My thoughts, *susan*

Thanks Susan. Yes I have an amazing support system and medical team. I have known these realities were coming for a long time. Gonna enjoy as I go though!

I haven’t taken it but it is on my short list, either alone or with something else like navelbine, methotrexate or xeloda. I hear it is pretty tolerable and pill form is convenient. Keep us posted. I am sorry to hear about your progression. 10 years with mets is amazing. Have you done any recycling of medications where you went back and used something that previously failed? I don’t have too many options left and may try to recycle somebody past medicines (like Xeloda) at some point.

hi. Yes I to am at the end of the meds list. I tried navelbine but had an allergic reaction. If the Citoxin doesn’t work I think there is Doxol left and then I am on to recycling. Your meds list looks like mine. I didn’t take the time to list all of the Mets I have had over the years. There have been several but in 2016 other organs were involved. Lungs and now liver. Hopefully this will back off the progression a little. I pray you stay well in the new ywar

Harlson. I'm not where you are but I do have progression and it certainly doesn't feel good. I got almost two years from Ibrance and Letrozole plus two radioembolization y90 procedures for my extension liver mets. Now IL has failed, I have new mets in lung, chest and liver. So, I will be starting on AA on Monday. Have you had this TX? I don't know what to expect. I did just have a new liver BX, hoping maybe my tumors have mutated to something different with a different treatment.
For your liver mets, you might consider y90. The ones I had are called SIR Spheres. It's done by a Interventional Radiologist and worked really well for me. My liver mets were not responding to IL, they were stubborn. I'm convinced that the y90 kept them at bay till now. I may eventually be a candidate for another y90.
I don't know where you live. I'm in the Dallas area. MTV IR is my doctor's website. He actually has my video, my story, on his website.💞

Cytoxan plus Methotrexate is on my list for somewhere down the road. They can give larger doses with a break or a constant low dose.
I hope it kicks your liver lesion to the curb!
