Hi all,

I wanted to pass on some good info on my mother's tumor markers. She was DX in Nov 2017 Stage IV. Liver, breast and lung. She started her CA 27.29 at 254 and her CEA at 12 and CA 15.3 at 150. She finished her final chemo yesterday and will now remain on HP for the future.. Her latest markers were:

CA 27.29 = 37

CEA = 5

CA 15.3 = 32

The doctor is very happy and so are we, however, the family is unfamiliar with what tumor markers really suggest.. I am keeping tabs on the trials of DS-8201 and Margetuximab. Her full scans will be done next week.

    Hello,

    She has been doing great! All her markers are extremely low some within normal. The liver leisons have all shrunk and some areas are cleared up. Area near bone is totally gone. She is continuing the infusions of Herceptin and Perjeta. I am hoping the Perjeta addition is doing double the work. I know Perjeta with Herceptin is fairly newer. She has lymphoedema but is getting therapy for it. Doctor not sure why she got it but she did. We are hoping the medication works for as long as possible. Hoping we don't have to see TDM1 for a very very long time! Doctors are all very pleased with her current health.
