loving that lil guy!! Hugs a plenty

Thank you ladies! Domino is 12 YEARS young, still as full of spirit and “puppiness” as when she was a puppy. She’s much loved and knows it
Because it’s always good to see cute pups on a Monday, here’s another pic!
I start radiation today. Wishing all of us good spirits and success on this unexpected journey.
-
Pebbles - wishing you an easy day with your radiation and a snuggle with Domino.
-
pebbles- hoping radiation with well. Domino is beyond cute. He looks like a puppy.
-
The mop has a nap.
-
the look when my Deeohgee knows I’m doing too much and should lay down.
-
micmel- listen to your doggy. He looks all knowing.
-
I was mopping when I should have been napping !
-
I love the Mop!!

🎶🎶Happy Birthday to meeeee🎶🎶🎶 today I am 9!!!! Mom says she can’t believe how the years have flown by!! She says I still play like a puppy, just not as long. A girl has to catch her breath you know. Mom is going to take me toy shopping later, and I might get a new collar too. And if I’m extra cute, maybe I can talk her into a bag of treats.
-
Happy Birthday Pretty Puppers! Gorgeous just gorgeous! 🎁🤩🎂🎉🎈🐶🐶🐾
-
Happy Birthday Spookie! You are gorgeous!
-
spookysmom-how do you keep Spooky so adorable. I keep my Maltese hair short because I cannot brush her out every week. She is too cute. I hope she talked you into a bag of treats.
-
She got 3 new toys. Put them down when we got home, of course Kris had to see, an wanted one. She wasn't hearing that. So when she wasn't looking he ran off with all of them and put them on my bed. Sometimes it's like having 2 toddlers in the house. Kris is my formerly white poodle I posted a few days ago.
Yeah, it can be a challenge to keep up with her long hair. I use a long tooth comb on her. Works better than any brush I've ever tried. The Ga dress Matt's her bad. I use a human detangler spray from Walmart on the really bad ones. She's good about getting groomed. And I use conditioner after shampoo just like we would. Hers is for dogs.
-
this is the comb I use, the handle broke off years ago.
-
my DH just purchased a furminator? You could knit a sweater with all the hair that comes out from the roots. Especially this time of year. The hair is so thick! Sometimes there is no replacing your favorite brush or hairdryer... etc. you get used to one thing !
-
Isn’t that the truth!!!!
-
My Sheltie “son”, Jackson
-
Jackson is very handsome.
-
pleasure to meet you Jackson. Handsome lil guy!
My coonhound after dumping my coffee on the floor !
-
uh, mom? You’re not mad at me, are you?
Is what his look says😂😂
-
Jackson is the oldest in the house at 11 yrs old. He is quite the gentleman unless the mail is coming or the phone rings, then he goes totally spaz.
-
lol that’s exactly it. Then he tried three Times to give me his paw! Lol
-
Hilarious.
Jackson knows when I am sad, especially if I get down on the floor and he sees tears in my eyes. Then here come the kisses until I stop crying. He hates seeing me sad.
-
It makes me sad to think of another sister crying like I do. I thought that as many tears as I have shed, I would either be broken, or just plain all worn out of tears. I am sorry you feel saddened to cry. I understand the sadness so much. You're not alone. When I get to crying both my dogs get very upset. The coonhound howls to the sounds of my sobbing. And my other dog tag. Just will not leave me alone, until I stop. Anxiety engulfs them both. Sometimes it snaps me out of it. Other times it makes it worse, because as pathetic as it sounds I don't want to be without them either. They have been such good company, loyal loving dogs. It's just on bad days. Hard to take care of their needs. I miss walking them. This day light savings has me all messed up!
-
mcmel- it's amazing how our pets pick up on our energy. Hopefully your happy days outweigh the sad ones.
-
Jo~ Ty vm. I wish I could say yes. To that statement. My good days seem less and less each month. Harder and harder each year. Maybe that’s why the statistics say three years for stage four seems about right. By then, you’re either worn out beyond comprehension, or you’re running out of treatments. Both scare the heck out of me and create such PTSD. It’s actually a living nightmare. But that is the definition of terror. Cancer makes you feel deeper. Cry more often.. become more sensitive to others....opens your eyes to natural beauty.....but during all that rips you apart cell by cell. I am lucky to have my dogs. I know. But somedays. I just don’t know what to do with myself. Someone can only watch so many reruns of Charlie’s Angels! Even though I Iove it! lol ty for your kind words -
My good days often do outweigh the bad ones.
-
I’m sorry you’re having sad days. Our pets do so much for us.
Maybe this will make you smile.
When I was doing chemo, nothing, not even water tasted good. But I was going to choke down my morning coffee, darn it. I was going to be “normal”. But I had to pee. And it took a while to get there and back. And when I came hobbeling around the corner, there was Kris standing on the table with my coffee dripping off his whiskers.
-
sounds like my dog. I have caught him stealing my entire coffee cup and walking away with it. He loves the cream. Thank you for the smile.
