1st time doing chemo

hi. Hope all is good with everyone. Just had mt first chemo treatment. Getting abraxane. Have a porti to. I was scared to get the needle in the port. But I was surprised. For the ones that are scared or worry. It wasn’t that bad. They sprayed it first and you really didn’t feel anything. I’m a big baby and if I say it wasn’t so bad. Believe me. I,m telling the truth. When do the side effects start to happen. And when does your hair start to fall out. If anyone knows I’ll appreciate the advise. Thank you. Rhonda

    I took Abraxane but it's been about eight years ago. Your hair will start to fall out between ten days and two weeks.

    We do have an Abraxane thread that is active and I'm sure you will find it very helpful.
