Lumps in left male breast

Hello. I am a male of 21 years old. I felt several lumps in my left breast last 2 weeks ago. 1 on the areola or the darked circle and 2 outside it. The first week i felt pain in my breast but after a week the pain is lessen. The oncologist i have consulted did not bother to feel the lumps and ordered me to have an ultrasound and said result had no lumps seen. So i have consulted to a surgeon who feel the lumps and requested me again for an ultrasound. Should i also do a mammogram test? If the result of the U/S and mammogram is negative can i go for a biopsy? I am very worried right now because of my age and situation. Please i do need help.

    You most likely have gynecomastia, but stay in the care of your healthcare providers to ensure this is the case. Post here if you have further concerns.

    Can several lumps be a case of gynaecomastia?

    Gynaecomastia can present as several lumps. Rarely will breast cancer appear like this.

    i've got my ultrasound result and it said that it has no lumps found even the doctors and radiologist found no lumps in the screen. Will i asked for a mammogram?

    No, an ultrasound for men is better than a mammogram. Congratulations oon your scan result. Come back here in the future if you have further concerns.

    thanks. The result give somewhat a relief. I have undergone a hormone test yesterday. Are there any signs that if gynaecomastia had been diagnosed may lead to BC?. Or do you have any idea or people to consult what are the best possible treatment for gynae? Thanks a lot brother

    Not really any connection between gynecomastia and bc, so relax on that front. Don't have any experience with it. Often it's a weight issue. Best ask your doc.

    thanks a lot for the time and concern. Are there any here who have the same situation and age like me who have lumps on their breast. Males particularly? What are their diagnosis?

    Very few young men reporting here with lumps have breast cancer. Perhaps one a year. The average age is 67.

    is it palpable or protrudingg to the skin? And is it detectable through ultrasound?

    hello there. Back here again for the reason that my left breast is now again in pain and now it also affect the back part. I noticed that there is a swollen lump i guess in my armpit. It is not visible but it is palpable. Can i ask if you have also swollen lymph nodes by the time you are diagnosed? Did you experienced breast pain?

    Yes I had swollen lymph nodes on diagnosis. I had breast pain because my bc had developed into Inflammatory Breast Cancer. You should revisit your doctor I'd suggest.

    Is there a nipple discharge or changes in the skin color? Or nipple retraction?

    This was five years ago.

    There was no nipple discharge, but there was nipple retraction.

    can i push for a biopsy? The lumps was in the areola part. One about size of pea and the other was half of it. Where is the swolln lymph nodes located?

    Lymph nodes are under the arm. See your doctor if you remain worried.
