So thrilled to say: TWELVE YEARS TODAY!
Hard to believe it's been a dozen years since I got that phone call after getting home from work and heard the words "there's a problem." Little did I know how big that problem would become - or all the things I would be able to experience in spite of it: a Costa Rica trip, a second home on the Oregon coast, and even two new hips! I'm now experiencing a different challenge: chemo-induced cardiomyopathy which is opening up a whole new medical world to me. Even so, I still remain thankful for the "red devil" that helped make the past 12 years possible.
All my best to all of you as we navigate the bumpy roads of our new normal...

Congratulations on everybody’s cancerversaries, ladies! So happy to have found you! You’ve given me hope and strength to go on with the treatments. I have to stop reading the Stage IV threads and concentrate on yours. Lead me to the light from the land of doom and gloom! Love the positive messages, please continue posting.
