Alcohol for Chemo Nausea

According to this article in the New York Times, sniffing rubbing alcohol can mitigate chemo induced nausea. Haven't tried it yet, but I'm getting some prep pads today to give it a go.

    Tried it yesterday. I don't really know how it worked. It didn't get rid of the nausea right away, but the study seemed to focus on nausea abatement 30 minutes after smelling the alcohol.

    30 minutes later I wasn't nauseous, but that happens without alcohol too.

    I'll keep on trying. If it works, that would be great, as the anti-emetics are so constipating.
