    God Morning Patty, i was hoping that you would have slept good and given your mind and body a chance to rest and heal some more. But then again we know hospitals suck with noises. Fell asleep thinking about you and hoping that when you go home. You have the best care group to spiff you up and get you rolling again. Doctors don’t know everything. Obviously! Stress is an evil bird. Yes it is. I am holding your hand. Thinking of you! Two words for you my friend are : I’m here. Much love ~M~

    Patty...the Ativan situation is exactly why you need Hospice. They are NOT afraid to over medicate you. They will give you whatever you need to be comfortable both physically and mentally. Unfortunately being in the hospital without Hospice is against how you want to be treated. I hope and pray you can go home soon. You should not have to fight for yourself with the hospital staff. Hospice will help you with all the decision making. Most people call them too late. They will be there for you for 6 months if needed and then they reevaluate. I hope and pray you and your family find some peace and comfort. I admire your strength so much.

    Good morning Patty! I am sorry you didn't sleep well last night, but it is completely understandable since your mind is filled with so many thoughts. Take a deep breath and think of something that makes you happy. We are all still here for you, and you are in our hearts.

    You can take Ativan during the day too. That nurse needs to be shot. It's a daily drug for lots of people. Quality sleep is so important.

    So glad you're feeling aware. It's chilly but sunny here. Be like a cat and enjoy some rays.

    Don't second guess your decisions. Takes up valuable energy. I have a dis functional family and several I don't see either. It's not worth it.

    I love watching the Great British Bakeoff. One of the judges phrases is "It's not worth the calories". I want you to savor every minute. Concentrate on happy things. Read your devotional, listen to music.

    Dear Patty, I've been catching up on reading, not posting much, but OMG I am so glad to see today you have rebounded and you're posting again. It's so wonderful you have your good friend Shannon with you and that your sisters are coming! I'm so hoping it's the carbo that's affecting your platelets and you can do the taxol.     Patty, think of those platelets as a Harvey Wallbanger. Old drink. Orange juice and Galliano. Same color. We haven't talked about Donnie in a long time. He's really grown a lot. Every year gets better. This May it will be 6 years. Haven't thrown his clothes over the fence in years. I know you always thought that so funny. Love&Hugs&Prayers, sassy

    Sas. Lol. Love hearing that things are going well with Donnie. Yes always got a huge laugh picturing you tossing his clothes out etc. Essex must be good but sometimes a little make up Essex is worth getting into an argument for.

    Sorry wish my memory would let me post individual thanks to each but darn it my fingers don’t seem to understand what brain is telling them to do. Thank goodness for being able to talk on microphone for most of the texting.

    Got my bone marrow biopsy this am. Was totally easy peasy. Funny I was somewhat nervous and the dr came out to discuss procedure. The interventional radiologist I have always used left. So first time meeting him. He was telling me how many times he has done this procedure but his name tag says STUDENT in big red letters. Questioned him and he said he forgot his name tag today so had to use a spare to have access to rooms. Too funny. Got a good laugh at it.

    I got a huge migraine afterwards complete with vomiting and burning eyes. Just finally got rid of it a moment ago. My back pain was bad not from procedure just from cancer. And they had to remove my diladid pain pump during procedure and recovery so it was really hard to get back on top of the pain.

    Now just the waiting game. The biopsy will show if bone marrow not producing whole blood and platelets because of chemo or cancer. If chemo then we may try taxol. I am not it’s sure yet. BUt uf it is just the Cancer then I will i will go home monday with hospice. mo said when’s stopping tx at this stage average survival time measured in weeks not months. so 😱. can’t sleep not sure what I want biopsy to show. Just very tired of fighting this damn disease.. more bad days then good. I know I will go to heaven and to be free of this crappy body but I am so scared

    I really didn't expect to feel this way. Thought I was ready.

    My younger sister from IL will be here tomorrow and I am excited.

    So very sad to hear of Dani's passing. Grrrr. Did I already say : I hate this freaking disease.

    W have lost so many bco sisters lately. It is kinda exciting to think when I go to heaven I am finally going to meet these bcosisters that I have gotten to know so well.
