I got a new lamp. Which means Merlin got a new box.

I had wrapped gifts under the tree with claw marks.
-
Squeakers got mad at me and attacked a present for someone else. Hope he'll be ok with the teeth marks.

Lovely story:
I found a link to it on the Kedi film facebook page.
Kedi was also named 5th in Times's Top Ten movies of the year.

My 2 yr old. Heโs a little vampire (he bites when he plays). Here he is with one of his favorite toys. He carries it all over with him. His name is Merlin

Hi TaRenee,
Merlin is so cute! thanks for sharing him with all of us!
Hope you both are doing well.
Take Care,
Sara

Gorgeous Merlin
I had a retrieving cat called Primrose (RIP 2005) she would catch a little knitted ball and bring it back just like Merlin and the red pom-pom. No digital photos though, they are all the old kind, taken long before the new cameras. She was the only cat I ever knew who did that.
-
My very first cat would retrieve balls of wadded up cellophane. She loved doing it. No cats since have been retrievers.
-
My mother had a cat who retrieved--corks in her case. As with Wren, none of my subsequent cats did, not even the (probably) part-Meezer, though he walked on a leash.
-
I've always disliked the bracelets that say 'believe' or similar upbeat messages, until today when I saw one that said Live, Love, Meow.

-
Love it!

My fospice cat, Colby, has come a long way from the skinny, matted, greasy boy we first took home.
He's in his favorite place, a lap while being petted.
-
Ahhh, happiness

My cat just came in the bedroom with Tostitos. Yes. Tostitos. My big bag was on the counter. Unopened. He decided he wanted some apparently. There is a hole in the bottom of the bag where he ripped it open. And crumbs on the kitchen floor. And in my bedroom now.
Tostitos. Honest to heavens. That cat.

He sounds great! What personality.

I have to put things up in the cabinet where he canโt get to them. I guess chips are next.
He also likes chocolate covered raisins. And lays potato chips. And ranch Doritos. And Cheeze Its. Basicly if I am eating it, he NEEDS it. Unless he doesnโt like it. Then I can eat in peace.
He does have personality.

TaRenee - My dear departed Ben thought that whatever we humans were eating, he needed to have some. We adopted him from a no kill shelter, and I think he grew accustomed to eating whatever he could find. So funny to give him something like a grape, which of course, became a toy.
-
A visit to the vet yesterday confirmed our statement that foster Colby is eating us out of house and home. He has gained 5.5 lbs in the six months we've had him. They may put him up as a special needs adoption case. The vet is adding a medication for his arthritis, which should help him feel better.

We had a new hot water heater delivered today. They came thru the garage into the basement. Squeakers, who is only allowed out on a leash, took full advantage of his opportunity. DH asked how long I thought he'd been outside. Obviously as long as the door had been open. I hope he enjoyed it and thankful he didn't get run over.
