oh God, you gals are funny! Amy you don't look like that ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ and stop scaring everyone.

Maybe we should share about what song they play. Lifechoices, so your techs remembered your boobs by now isn't it? Good to know you don't have any SE, you have such a amazing life, busy and full!

23/30 finished, met with my RO he said my skin is holding up good, I got a little dry peeling and it is fine. He doesn't think my skin will break up. I really hope he is right. Two more whole breast and 5 boosts to go. I was so tired after rad I went home and slept for an hour.

Good Morning WARRIORS! So I have a question, I had my incision just around my nipple. Since taking tamoxifen, Ive been as I said getting the twinges AND now I have tenderness at the incision spot. Not really painful, just like a tenderness when you are about to start your monthly and you get that 'sensitive' nipple feeling. Im post-op since Oct 19th; and post rads as of Dec 27th. My mom (who had DCIS when she was 60, she's now 72) said that its probably yet again my insides talking to one another to reconnect. I have no open sore or leaking, just that twinge and sensitivity. I tell myself that I REFUSE to blame everything on "MrC"... but it looks like every time I try to release him, he sends me a signal that he was there.

Lifechoices, according to my RO after radiation our skin will take couple months to heal. I still think your skin is going through healing process.

Iโ€™m ready for #24, will see what music are they going to play?

life choices, from what I've read you are still having effects weeks after treatment so I believe that is what you are experiencing.

21/30 done today and ... NO MUSIC! I told them after I am kinda keeping track so I was disappointed with no song! I am getting good at this, they said I am an expert and barely have to position me. Great way to find out I was born to be a radiation model. Sorry, I am sarcastic by nature, hope you ladies get me.

gigibee, you can be the model Iโ€™m not taking your job. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

24/30 .... 6 more to go. Iโ€™m super tired now, I need my nap. Musics was Norah Jones Come away with me. Almost out me to sleep forgot to count my zap. I can feel some tingling today canโ€™t wait for my last whole breast tomorrow.

You ladies are nearing the end and I'm so happy for you!!! Stay strong, you got this.

Lifechoices - I haven't had any type of pings or twitches. I've taken my new meds now for 4 days and so far nothing to report, which is a good thing. I've been sleeping like a log but that's probably because I started exercising. Went to bed last night at 9 p.m. I couldn't stay awake!!

    GOOOOOD MORNING WARRIORS!

gigibee; of course you'd make a great model! PauletteK; YEAHHH for the last full breast! Im so proud of you...

Ellyn27; yeah no real noticable effects, i think I just feel everything now. Before my diagnosis NOTHING mattered, now if a hair stands on my arm I look at it funny! lol... But glad to know that you too are coming along well on the 'meds' journey.

I did it! Had my last rads, rang the bell, hugged my techs, my nurse, cried my eyes out and walked out of the place I've been going every morning for 6 weeks. Had to laugh, the song playing during my last rads was "I Ain't Missing You at All"! I brought donuts for everyone too. It's been the worst year of my life and I'm ready to be done with active treatment. Wishing all of you the best.

Lifechoices, I see my MO in two weeks and will be put on hormone therapy. We had talked about a few clinical trials so we will revisit that. I think he also wants to confirm I'm truly in menopause and not just temporary because of chemo. I see my PS in about 6 weeks to discuss my exchange surgery, hoping I don't have to wait too long

OCDAmy - WOOHOO!!!! Congrats, you did it. I can't even explain the feeling I had when I finished. I didn't even know I had that feeling in me. When my RADs were over I was crying like a baby, very emotional. How wonderful. Party time!!!! Next up PauletteK and gigibee :) Anyone else from December still getting RADs ... don't want to miss anyone.

On another note, since I'm now taking Anastrozole for 5 years which is supposed to help rid my body of estrogen/progesterone (I'm ER+/PR+) I just found this list called "Foods and spices that reduce the risk of ER+/PR+ breast cancer" that I'm going to try to incorporate. I'm also going to ask my MO about it next month.ย  You will need to scroll down to see the list:

OCDAmy; ok... yeah Im what they call in perimenopause. 49; and havent had my 'visit' since Nov; but I was having the hot flashes even before my diagnosis, so I guess this tamox will just move the menopause right along.

I hope that all goes well in WHATEVER you decide. We've had to endure so much in this process we could probably start a clinical trial of our own.

Ellyn27; thanks for the food list. I saw that but now that you've sent it, i think I'll print it off. Im good w/alot of the foods on there but I do have a question for other ER/PR+ warriors; are you drinking any alcohol? Prior to my diagnosis I'd drink maybe a glass or two during the week and maybe on the weekend. During rads; I had a glass as my end of week reward on Fri or Sat w/my wonderful man, but since rads ending and on tamox I havent had a sip. Has anyone 'completely' ditched alcohol?

OCDAmy, Congrat's! What an appropriate song, you didn't choose this but you did what you had to do and hopefully now it can be a memory and I know you will be able to help someone else that has to walk through this!

Ellyn, I screenshotted that same list. I seem to hear differing opinions on turmeric. I need to ask my MO. It's overwhelming sometimes.

Ellyn, thanks for that list. I'm determined to lose the weight I gained during chemo and start eating healthy. Lots of delicious things on that list.

I'm still going to enjoy a glass of wine now and then

lifechoices - I'm not a big drinker at all, but when offered a nice dry red wine .... I'm going for it!!!!ย  Again, everything in moderation. I figure if I'm going to eat better now and exercise more, I can have a glass of wine every now and then. I just can't drink anything yellow (tastes yucky to me) so I stick to my red wine. Maybe one glass ... kinda like this one:ย

Ellyn27; HILARIOUS! Funny you say that because my fella knew that I was limiting my alcohol intake; so for Christmas he purchased this for me. You and he must be thinking the same. But yes, on a Friday now when I've worked a full week and have done all of my running around; Im gonna reward myself w/a glass. I agree in moderation I just didn't know if it was taboo.

PauletteK, there's always a party! lol... Im doing great my friend! I am glad its Friday though. As I stated earlier I've worked everyday (5-6hrs days) during my 'journey'; however, this week was my first full day back to 8hr days and I CAN FEEL IT! Yesterday I got up at 5:45 to be at work @ 730; visited a friend to drop off some YOGI tea; had choir rehearsal from 7-9 and when I got home I CRASHED! So yes TGIF... im going to leave work, make a grocery run (thinking about making a chicken fettuccine alfredo) and; get my coziest blanket and chill out w/my dinner and 'glass of wine' and catch up on my tv shows that I missed last night. But Im doing REALLY good. I have a little area under my breast where the bra line runs thats been rubbing; but I think its from my last zaps and as you all stated im still healing from inside out.

CONGRATS on the last 'whole breast' today! Thats AWESOME!!!! We've come along way!
