OCDAmy, I saw my plastic surgeon on Friday - and just the day before I had two places on my breast start weeping slightly. He felt like it was a combo of the radiation damage and the tightness over the expander. He removed 30ccs of fluid from the affected breast. I have to say as much as I didn't want to do that (I'm still hoping to add a little more before my exchange surgery), it brought some relief. The breast feels better not being so tight. He also advised using bacitracin ointment on the weepy/blistery looking spots. I'm hoping to see some improvement soon. I asked him if my skin was so bad that it might impact my ability to have permanent implants. He said he didn't think it was that bad yet but that we "weren't out of the woods yet". Arghhh...I wish I had seen him sooner and had some fluid removed but hopefully my skin is going to heal up soon. Hope yours feels better soon as well!

Sonia, that's a bummer but I'm glad it feels better. I'm going back for a full in a few weeks. I hope it's not terrible, if it is I'll have it taken out. It's the non radiated Breast that U.S. much smaller anyway. Did your PS say what the alternative to implants would be? Mine is suggesting Latissimus dorsi but I'm not sure I want that big surgery
