I'm 47 and had a hysterectomy 9 yrs ago (i still have my ovaries)  Thursday, when i bent down after taking off my bra, i experienced a sharp, stabbing pain that went from the center of the left side of my left breast to under the nipple, than it went to a burning sensation.  It has happened every day since, when i bend over even a little bit, but it doesn't hurt if i have a bra on.  I should also mention, i am diabetic with a history of boils. I have a scar from a boil at the starting point of this pain. Not sure if it has anything to do with the pains.  Also, 12 yrs ago, i had a large abscess removed from my right breast and they had to remove most of my milk ducts/glands.

I have a cousin, and an uncle, both on my mothers side, who have had breast cancer. My uncle had the test done to see if its genetic and it is not.

not sure if i should wait it out and see if the pain goes away or to talk to my doctor.

Thanks for your time and any and all responses.  God Bless

Scar tissue can entrap nerves and symptoms can arise years after a surgery causing pain akin to what you describe. However, it is impossible to know what is happening. You should go see a doctor and be evaluated. The fact that a specific movement causes the pain doesn't speak to cancer per se. Hope you get this sorted out soon.
