MBC in hip, necrosis around hip?

Hi


I was diagnosed a year ago with Metastatic breast cancer which had shown up in my liver and also in top of femur/hip joint. Still having anti body treatment and herceptin. Last scan showed necrosis around hip. I'm not sure I understand what this is, would appreciate any comments? Lesion in liver is reduced,from 8cm to 1.5 cm. suffer with anaemia too.

    When you have necrosis in the hip, that means it didn’t get enough blood to it. That causes the bone to die. Typically you would need a total hip replacement. Wishing you the best and lifting everyone up in prayer.

    thank you. I have an appointment with a surgeon later this month, but this has given me hope, as was fearing the worst
