I'm out on Oct 14-15 and 21-22, but can probably do most other weekends in Oct/Nov. Sept 30 is ok too.
I hope any of you who lost power have it back by now! Ours was off for less than a day, and only repair (fixed by me) was lanai screen partially popped out.
-
Most of the time on weekends I'm open. Oct 21 - 28 I'll be in NYC again. Back up speaker for a symposium at Hofstra University about the journey of Breast Cancer in terms of reconstruction. I was requested to do this by my PS office in NY. My friend that also goes up there is the primary speaker.

Hi, folks. Been a long time since Ive been on BCO, I guess I needed a break from it all, tho I am doing well.
My husband and I are 18 months new to Fla. We live an hour north of Tampa, in Homosassa== we are looking for a new general Dr... any suggestions ?? Somewhere north of Tampa if you can recommend. And we have BCBS PPO so looking in network. I know it's a big ask for recommendations--- but would greatly appreciate. Thanks

Was a date selected or did I miss it?
-
I'll be back Jan 1st. Hope to have a chance to visit with all of you again
-
A date was never set that I know of.....still hoping that we can get together sometime soon!
-
galsal - we selected a date but had to cancel for Hurricane Irma. We have not set a new one yet.
How do you all feel about a lunch before the end of the year, or should we wait until after the holidays? I know people get crazy busy and don't want to add if it complicates things, but am totally willing to have something at my house and I am flexible on dates/times if we can work something out. Otherwise I feel like January would be great and people might be more available. Or, we can do both, lol!
-
SpecialK -- I have some availability in December, but I don't know if it would be too hard for others. I would be good with either/or/both. My availability in Dec. is 12/2(day), 3, 9, & 10. January is a little harder for me to give dates as I will probably have to be in rehearsals for the musical at my college, but the dates/times and specific parts haven't been set yet. Usually, it is most Saturdays in the early/mid afternoon for the month, but Sundays are usually not involved.
-
Hi everyone!
I can do Dec 2,3 9,10. It would be nice to get together soon.
-
SpecialK - I can do 12/9 or 12/16.
Otherwise, I'll be just as happy to get together in January.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. -
Saturdays Dec 2, 9, or 16 looking open so far. Look forward to seeing you all.
-
The 9th of December looks like a good day for all who have replied so far, at least for a lunch before the end of the year. I am also good with that date and would be happy to host a gathering at my home at noon on that day. I will update the header, and also text ones that don't check this thread as often! Yay!
-
K- Let us know what you want us to bring!
-
Just yourselves! I got this.
-
I'm in for the 9th, I have something thatevening but lunch would be great!
-
I am so glad this date is working out - yay!
-
I'm so jealous that I can't be there. Promise me you'll have another one Jan-Mar. Meeting you all last time meant the world to me
-

-
Awesome! Looks like we’re going to have a wonderful time! And I know the food will be amazing if SpecialK is cooking.
-
looking forward to it too!
-
SpecialK came to Daytona Beach recently to hang with 8 of us who gathered from all over the country. We were thrilled she made that long trip and I intend to join up with you all on December 9th as well. Have another invite that evening but can at least meet you all for a couple hours.
-

I am pretty new to this site - but sure am glad I found it!!! I live in The Villages, so I'm about 1-3/4 hours from Tampa.
I was a Stage 1A so not sure I "qualify" for your group. Do you know if there is a Stage 1 group of BCO sisters in the Ocala area
-
Snickersmom -- I'm not sure if there is a group closer to Ocala or not. We are open to any and all stages, and we'd love to have you join us.
-
Thank you! Hope I am able to make it -I wll let you know, okay? We are away until Tuesday so I don't have my calendar with me. As soon as we are home, I'll send you a message. I really hope I can get down there.

I just heard from Special K that you also live in The Villages. I am in the Village of Charlotte; where are you? I have just joined the BCO website and it was so great to discover the Get Togethers forum! I hope we can hook up.
