Take photos and message them for us Would love to add them to our get together section!
-
mods - I always say we need to take a photo before the event, then we get so busy TALKING and laughing, we forget, lol! We will try harder this time!
-
Also, that 2/17 date is good for Lee7 and myself.
-
Feb 17 works for me too.
-
Would love to see you all again and meet everyone who's new. Feb 17 works for me. While I loved Cheesecake Factory last year I thought it was pretty loud and I had a hard time hearing everyone. I don't know the area so I can't recommend anywhere else.
-
Yay! Feb 17th is looking good so far! Will work on finding a quiet venue.
-
Feb 17th is good for me. Yay, I can't wait!
-
Great! Maybe this time we can get to know each other better!!
-
17th will work.
-
Feb 17 works for me too

I’m going to try to make it the 17th! Our kids have a long weekend for Presidents Day so there is a chance we’ll be on an outing but if not, I’m free.
-
I might actually be in Tampa that weekend anyway! Hope there won’t be a scheduling conflict but this is already exciting
-
That should work well.
-
SpecialK has anything been decided for the 17th?
-
Kira - we are definitely getting together - place tbd. I’m sorry I have been distracted, the last two weeks have been a memorial service in South Carolina for my mother-in-law, followed by the interment of both in-laws this past Friday at the National Cemetery at Bushnell and I have had a house full of family. Everyone left this morning so I can now focus on our lunch! I will post the details tomorrow.
Does anyone have any thoughts on a quiet spot that can accommodate this many of us
-
Tough time for you and your family. You've had a lot on your plate this month.
It would be great if you could find something a bit north/northeast of Tampa - closer for me! I think I will be driving down by myself so just make it somewhere easy to get to!!!
Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

Hey! OK, I'm back! Feeling like I have been trying to hide under the skirt of a whirling dervish for the last few weeks! Is everyone still feeling good with Sat., 2/17 at noon? I am thinking about the Grillsmith at Wiregrass - I know they have capability to put us in a quieter area, and they are located not far off I-75. Thoughts?
-
I'm still in.
-
Sounds good to me. What time to meet? Do we normally do 11:30 or 12?
-
Grillsmith at Wiregrass sounds great. It's a great place to eat, walk, and shop.
-
nbnotes - we have met at noon for the past lunches - that also helps the ladies who have a longer drive.
I will keep bumping this so it stays up in the active topics. I will also text everyone that I have a number for to double check with them.
-
Still looking forward to the get-together.
-
Ladies let me know if you are still in - I have updated the header with what I know so far.
-
I'll be hobbling around but plan to be there.
-
kira - hobbling? why? I need details!
-
I'm still in. Don't have a clue where it is but a long as it's off 75, I should be able to find it with good old Google Maps!
Thanks for organizing this. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again.

I'm in but I don't think Phyllis will be coming. I'll check with her again and if she is, she can add herself to the list.

snickers - easy peasy - the shopping center is right off I-75 at the SR-56 exit, only the turn off the ramp, then a short distance. Will add you to the RSVP list! Looking forward to this!
-
SpecialK I was supposed to have surgery for a knee injury last summer but ended up having breast cancer surgery instead. I walked to far a couple of weeks ago and it's been hurting since.
-
kira - bummer! Hope you can get it taken care of soon so you're not hurting any longer!
