Hi all, I live in Ireland and I was diagnosed with stage3 grade3 TNBC in Jan 2016. I'm 36, married 4 years and I have a beautiful little girl who will be 3 in December.

When I was diagnosed last year I had a lot of nodes involved including nodes underneath my sternum which ruled out the option of surgery. After 4 rounds of Carboplatin and Gemcitabine I had a clear ct scan. I then had 30 sessions of radiotherapy and two further rounds of chemo. Scans post radiotherapy and the remaining chemo also showed NED.
Unfortunately a ct scan in March this year showed that the cancer was back in all the same places again with some additional nodules in my lungs (I was getting treatment for what was thought to be lymphedema as a result of radiotherapy prior to the scan but it was obviously the cancer that was causing the pain/swelling). I started Taxol (3 weeks on/1 week off) in March and a scan in May showed the cancer was reducing. A few weeks later by physical examination it was obvious that the chemo had stopped working. I pushed to try CarboGem since I had such great results in 2016 but after two rounds it was obvious that I wasn't getting much of a response (I have tumours near the surface of my breast) and it was hitting my bloods really hard. We switched to Eribulin and after one cycle the cancer continued to progress. So today I got scan results from a ct scan taken last week. The tumours in my breast and nodes are growing, the nodes in the lungs are stable and there is now an additional nodule in my liver. My oncologist is saying that it looks like my cancer is becoming chemo resistant....He mentioned Xoleda and Adriamycin as potential chemos I can try but thinks I should have radiotherapy to my breast as an attempt to reduce swelling and potentially stop a couple of tumours from breaking the skin.

I'd love to hear peoples experiences if you were in a similar situation. Or any suggestions of other potential treatments.
