I drink red wine on a regular basis - (3-4 glasses a week). I was diagnosed with mets 9 1/2 years ago and have been NED over 9 years. The only time I don't indulge is right before or right after my Herceptin treatments. There are other benefits to wine too. I agree everything in moderation. cheers with no guilt.

Hi Kimchee - am also on Ibrance w/ bone mets & yup - I enjoy my evenings out!

I like my cocktails, but I stick with low sugar ones and I have them with food (uuuuh.... mostly ;-) Most liquors are distilled from plants?......(yeah I know, I'm fooling myself :-).

Dunno - think a mets diagnosis isn't easy to deal with and it will change us all in some way & we all have to deal with it in our own way..... Good luck with all the processing, Metster Mom.

I have never been known to turn down a glass of wine. I am a firm believer in what will be, will be. While I won't be doing shots and/or keg stands in the near future, I know I could also be hit by a bus crossing the street. Life's too short---drink good wine

My oncologist said one glass every night is linked to greater risk in BC. That is seven a week! So my mathematical ability tells me one or two on the weekend are well below the radar lol
