osseous metastatic disease Just found out I might have it

My MRi came back showing I might have this disease. Not sure what this means.

And what can be done about it. Said a spot on my spine. Does anyone else

have this and what are you doing for it?

    I'm pretty sure this refers to metastasis to the bone, your spine in this case. I don't know if they can confirm with a bone biopsy or not but if you do have bone mets, they may want to give you bone protection/strengthening meds and/or possibly radiation, if the area causes pain.

    People can do well with bone mets for many years. I have a lesion on my hip bone and will have an xgeva shot every 6 weeks for it, that's it.
