Cats, cats, cats

Quincy and Muppet are both handsome boys. The stray who chooses you will be a lucky cat.
-
Lovely boys. RIP.

Our 15yo foster cat was adopted on Sunday! He's gone to a home with a 10yo boy and another 15yo cat. The two cats look alike except for the shade of brown. His new brother is a redder brown. We have paws crossed that it goes well.
-
Lovely news! Long life and happiness to him in his new home.

Hi from a newbie !
Bubba, he is my ultimate therapy kitteh! He will get on my lap and apply himself to my achy body parts and he won't leave my side when I'm sick!
I made a few memes of him some time ago, he was famous for a day!
-
Dani, love it!
-
Hi Dani! Welcome to you and beautiful Bubba. I hope he got over the re-arrangement!
-
Hahaha! There's another one for those who have a mixed species family:
-
;o))
-
Lions, Tigers and Skunks oh my!
-
And now I have another foster cat. Gray short haired male with hyperthyroid and perhaps severe renal failure. I can't get him off my keyboard tray and he doesn't know how to type. He wants in my lap and is purring up a storm. He might not be healthy, but he's sure nice.
-
Lucky kitty to have landed on your lap, Wren!

Am I the only one that apologizes to my cats when I vacuum?
-
Nope.
-
Good to know I'm not alone. Makes me feel a little less crazy.
-
I will skip a room and come back later if Henry is napping there!
-
My current cat doesn't mind the vacuum cleaner. He will walk right up to it and watch. Our last foster cat bit me when DH started a hand vac in the room. Poor guy was terrified. I haven't tried to vacuum around the current foster cat. I love the video of the cat riding on the rumba.
-
Ruthbru, I use the cats as an excuse not to vacuum all the time!
Wren, I LOVE that roomba video. Sadly, my cats are scared of my roomba. They hide from it.
-
Therapy time!

I took foster cat Colby to the vet for blood work after being on his medication for 3 weeks. He has gained 2.94 lbs. It's good to know where those 2 cans a day of cat food are going. The vet tech was impressed with how much better he looks. Tonight he's still paying me back for the car ride in a carrier.

Good Morning Sisters!!

Mud Bay, a local pet supply store, has a party once a year for volunteers at animal shelters. They give you a food ticket, raffle tickets, drink tickets and announce the winners of the volunteers of excellence award. Each shelter can nominate one volunteer and there is online voting. It was so much fun. Three food trucks to choose from, free non-alcoholic drinks and tickets for the alcohol drinks. Their suppliers bring samples to hand out and info about their products. They even have samples of cat litter to see and smell. It's fun to meet volunteers from other rescues as well as having a chance to talk to other volunteers at your own. It's such a nice thing to do and makes shelter volunteers feel appreciated.

I've shared pictures of the three feral cats I feed. And these guys are the reason.
Milo
His brother Chloe (not even the vet could figure out his sex when he was a kitten).
And the two of them.
Sorry for the size. I've tried downsizing but it doesn't work for me any more.
-
Thanks for the kitty pics! Keep them coming - can't wait until I can retire and have one of my own again.
-
Here are the three ferals who have adopted me. In the forefront is the little female. Back left is the one I call Guard Cat. He has actually growled a few times at people who approach the porch. And the one to the right in the back is Big Boy. He's polydactyl. Again, sorry for the size. It's unusually to get the three together. Guard Cat and the female hang out together all the time
-
Great pictures!
-
Getting a photo of 3 cats is as hard as 3 toddlers. Great shot!
-
Wonderful pics of the kitties. Make me smile.
