Osteoporosis and Stage IV mets

Hello.

Prior to my Stage IV diagnosis with liver mets, I was being treated for Osteoporosis with Fosamax.

Since starting Ibrance/Letrozole 8 months ago, my osteoporosis has worsened. I do not have bone mets. Suspect Letrozole (aromatase inhibitor).

I am now being prescribed the Prolia injection, which will be every 6 months.

Any Stage IV folks in this same situation and did you experience improvement with Prolia? Any side effects?

I take Xgeva which is the same medicine (denosumab) as Prolia for my bone mets.  I just get twice as much medicine more often (every 3 months 120 vs 60)   The only side effect I've notice is it seems to give me more energy which is just fine with me.  I can always use a little more energy since I'm also on Ibrance and faslodex.

I've been getting Prolia injections for about a year and a half with no noticeable side effects.

Hi. Due to worsening osteoporisis (just assumed from Letrozole), I have been switched from oral Fosomax 70mg/weekly to Prolia subq every 6 months. Hope this improves my situation. If anyone has seen improvement with their osteoporosis while on Prolia, please let me know.
