Hi, I'm looking for MBC patients who have stomach upset maybe caused by Ibrance and Femara.  I am on Medicaid therefore finding a GI doctor that accepts Medicaid is a challenge.  It doesn't help that I'm hearing impaired and have difficulty hearing on the phone.  So I'm hoping to hear from other patients so I can manage my stomach upset until I can find a GI doctor.   I've started taking omeprazole, Tums and Gas-X.  I'm watching what I'm eating.  I'm challenged because I have had to give up drinking coffee and carbonated beverages (I'd usually enjoy one small bottle a day) and avoid certain foods.  I hope to hear from you!

Miss Kyle

Hi, have you mentioned this to your oncologist?I would start there. Also, What do you mean by upset? Queasy? Gassy? Constipation? Just trying to clarify so others might be able to help!

Personally I still love drinking coffee but I have found that my heartburn is worse. My onc Switched me from Pepcid to nexium. And I do get nauseous occasionally if I don't eat enough food/water with meds. I have only been on ibrance for about 6 months though

Hi. I did mention to my onc. I was told to take Gas-X and find a GI dr. I have gas and bloating. It is painful. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I'm in omeprazole too. I have lots of gas and bloating. My tastes change depending on my cycle. I used to be a die hard Pepsi fan. That or water. Now Coke tastes good. I was drinking coffee before but this month it doesn't agree with me. I find lemon water to be the best. Good luck.
