    What a whirlwind the last 2 1/2 weeks have been. Tomorrow I have an 8am appointment for pre surgical testing. I'm scheduled next week for a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy. Which I suppose may all change if my BRCA testing comes back positive though. Zero family history of cancer so crossing my fingers on that.Ive seen more doctors in the last two weeks than I have in the last 10 years! Learning a whole new vocabulary, trying to find a bunch of resources to gain new information. Head is spinning!!!

    Yes, it really is hectic at the beginning. I had a lumpectomy, too. I've found this site to be a great source of information. The moderators do a good job about passing on the latest studies to us.

    Daner001 - I'm still asking myself that question and it's been 11 months since I found the lump. At the beginning, it's definitely a whirlwind of appointments, procedures and tests. Once you get a diagnosis, you will feel a bit better having a plan of "attack". This board is a great resource and place to ask questions.
