It had been a long time since Myra was on the boards. She was an early friend for me, and she dropped off suddenly. I kept hoping she was just living her life, but she never came back. I felt in my heart that she was gone. Maybe I missed it, if it was ever on BCO at all, but I finally discovered that she passed away last August. I just wanted everyone who knew her here to know that, too. May her memory be a blessing. It is to me.

    Thank you for posting this sad news. I, too, had often wondered how Myra was doing, and I had hoped she was enjoying life. She was always full of life and good advice on these boards. She will be missed. Her life will live on in those wh knew her.

    Thank you Stefajoy. I thought of Myra so much since she stopped posting and I'm so sad to hear of her passing. May she rest in peace. I will always remember her.

    Stef, I cannot say if I crossed paths with Myra on these boards, but it is never easy to learn of the loss of those who were friends early on in this journey. My condolences to you, and to Myra's family.

    She was a lovely woman, so helpful to many of us. I think a couple of us on the Bone Mets thread who were worried about her had also concluded that she had passed away, although I can no longer find the obit that we thought was hers, but weren't sure enough at the time to share. Were you able to find that, Stefajoy?

    yes Deanna. I found a funeral listing at the funeral home she had once mentioned. Myra (last name) dob 12/11/54 (Myra's bday). I cross refernced her name on FB and found her picture...so it's definitely her, sorry to say. Remember her beautiful grandaughter, Mallory? Shes an adorable three (i think) year old and there is another baby. Myra would have been thrilled.

    I saw her obit or what I thought was hers in December and was reluctant to post as I wasn't absolutely sure it was Myra, but thank you for confirming it for us. She was so excited to be here to meet Mallory and I'm so glad she was able to do that. I miss her. Has anyone heard from Mary at her online name of 3-16-2011? I have been thinking of her. I pm'd her not long ago and did not receive a response.
