3 Things

My three things today:
1. Lunches with coworkers, especially when I have amazing coworkers.
2. People interrupting my day to send me well wishes and to ask how I am doing. So nice to be in people's thoughts.
3. Other people who listen tirelessly (at least to me they are tireless) to my endless indecision over BMX versus Lumpectomy.

I need to visit here more often!
My 3 three today:
1. friends cheerfully sitting through a 5 hour infusion, and then lunch after.
Made the infusion much more bareable.
2. Decisions being made. Such a relief.
3. Long weekends!

3 things today
Out of town friend visiting
Friends checking in by text and online
My mom trying to stay strong for me. May God keep her always healthy and strong

3 things today
1. Waking up feeling good the day after chemo with no drugs (Taxol - just took a Pepcid AC this morning and that was it!)
2. Crock pots - they make my life soo much easier! I have a paleo "oatmeal" with butternut squash and apples with coconut milk in it right now smells amazing!
3. My dad. He's going to fly out for after my surgery (he lives in North Carolina) to help me. We lost my mom to liver cancer, so knowing his daughter has breast cancer must kill him, but he's a trooper and will be out to see me and help me. Such a good man. I'm lucky to have him.

Today I am grateful for
A lovely day where I watched House of Cards - 2 episodes
A good nights sleep
Actually being able to taste most of the food, without the cardboard feeling.
-
Today:
1. The "find my phone" feature on my iPad. I left my phone at a restaurant last night, and it's still there.
2. My dad.
3. My husband.
4. The men and women who protect our country and the Veterans.
Wishing everyone going through chemo minimal or no side effects.
-
Today I'm so grateful for:
1. Friends that give me aloe socks so my poor feet, all dried and battered from Taxol, have a wonderful relief.
2. My daughter is coming home today!
3. Lazy Saturday mornings
-
Wow! it's been a while for me to post. But here are today's 3 things:
1. Long walks with the dogs. Nice to get outside, enjoy the refreshing morning air, and keeps the dogs happy.
2. Healthy foods that make me feel so much better - and the desire to eat healthy. While on AC all I wanted was comfort food.
3. This forum and the friends I have made. This is such a wonderful support group.
-
1. Spring wildflowers
2. Birdsong
3. The local lake finally starting to melt (really late this year!)
-
1. Sloppy kisses from my friend's dog
2. Slept more than four hours, for once. Ok, yes, I gave in and took a sleeping pill
but I really needed the sleep!
3. Husband agreed it's time for lasagne again, so I will be all afternoon in a kitchen full of wonderful aromas
-
I am thankful for: A caring family, Well equipped treatment facilities, and professionals, Amazing foods to eat
-
Today I am grateful for:
1. This humor forum cheers me
2. Being able to sew.
3. My friend's biopsy showed only fat necrosis --- so she's four years out and still NED
I was really worried for her.
