Does Low Grade correlate with Low Oncotype Score?

I just had a bi-lateral mastectomy and my results were all favorable. Stage 1, low grade, hadn't spread to lymph nodes, low Ki67 (8%), ER+, P+, HER2-, 1.5cm, clear margins.

I'm now having to wait a couple of weeks for my Onco results to come in and to say I'm anxious about it is an understatement. I'm wondering if having this so far be considered a low grade/early stage has a likelihood of a low onco score? Is there a correlation? Please advise if you know or have any insight!

It is very likely someone will have a low Oncotype score with grade 1 and a low Ki67%, though how low also depends on how strongly ER+ and PR+ the tumor is. The higher these percentages, the lower the Oncotype score generally goes.

Clear lymph nodes are always a good thing. I'm not aware that the algorithm for computing scores has changed over the years for those with clear nodes. Since you have clear nodes, whether or not it is tweaked for those with spread to the nodes won't apply to you. I had clear nodes, so have not researched this.

My Oncotype score was 3 and I had a grade 1 tumor. ER was 100% and PR was 99.89. Ki67 was 3.3. I used some of the online prediction programs such as Cancer Math, the one from the University of Pittsburgh and the one from the University of Tennessee. They were all fairly close to the score that I received on the Oncotype. Cancer Math gave the the exact risk of recurrence which was 4%.
