My Furr-amily through 3 cancer diagnoses. xoxo

Wish I could have kitties again. Where we live, we couldn't let them outdoors, too many bat things for them to get in to. So I have to deal with my funny Dozer. He is keeping my rebounder warmed up for me:
-
What a good boy!
-
putting our old gal shells down prob tomorrow. She hasn't been able to control bowls, now the bladder has started. She has had a great 16 1/2 years.
-
Susan, may your gal have a peaceful transition and may your tears be a reminder of the love you gave and received for 16 1/2 years. ((Hugs))
-
Maddie says Hello........
-
What a happy girl!!!!
-
Susan - I am so sorry to hear that you have to put Shelby down. Even though she's been with you for a long time, it just never seems like long enough.
-
junie is Kirby back home?
Susan, hugs
I'm not on that *other* thread anymore, is reason asking here.
-
thanks guys. She has become very unsettled lately. Can't get comfy at night. Sleeps all, day, and used to sleep all night. She's allowed at her age. But now she is so antsy at night. I think cause the other eye is going blind, trying to leave lights on so she can see as best she can. Would rathe r her more peaceful at the end. She keeps trying to bite me. I think she thinks it's bailey, and she is having a quick knee jerk reaction at any touch, and realizes it's me after she tries to Bite me. Not A bad attack since she can hardly stand anymore. Wish she was more peaceful. I keep the dogs separated, but Shelby knows he is around
-
Spookie - Yes, Kirby came home yesterday and he is doing amazing for a 6 mos. old dog.
Here he is in his new play toy bed. He had plenty of buddies to play with at the trainers and I think he misses them. Mom isn't as much fun as they were. Plus, I'm the one who has to say "No" & "Yes".
-
awww growing like a weed. So cute😍 Keep us posted on this thread, ok
-
Awwww. Kirby is cute!
Had a blast yesterday with Jackson. We had what I call "Mommy and Jackson time" aka a bath. He's so good when I give him a bath, he just sits there and enjoys it.
-
Shelby will be missed
-
Susan: keeping you and Shelby in my thoughts and prayers today.
-

well I am truly blessed that i only have to concentrate on recovery thanks to DH and a beagle named Scarlett.
Example 1. She declined piece of banana twice the other day. She is extremely food motivated dog. She had this expression when she declined "you need those more than I do"
Ex 2. I was having a bad day. She hopped on the bed and gently scratched my arm. "You have been in bed all day get up" I got up ordred a pizza went to park w DH. Got a hair cut went to Publix

Hi everyone, just checking back in after a long time away, couple years post- treatment and back out living life, comfort dogs still by my side! I am so glad to see this thread doing so well. Hang in there and pats for all the little fur-kids.
