Ladies had to share this one..........this is Stella on the aero bed that her and my daughter sleep on each night because she can't climb the steps or sleep on the bed for fear of jumping off......so my daughter sleeps in her family room on the aero bed with Stella to keep her safe.....bedtime for Stella.....my poor daughter is across the room working for her company because she was running around today for Stella and the hospital...
.check her out...........LOL........
-
lol That is cute!!!!
-
Stella has such good people.
-
I saw this image some time ago, but wanted to share again because it reminds me that the human part of the human - dog bond is so very important

John Unger and his dog Shoep, who has severe arthritis. The image was posted over a year ago and became quite the sensation. Schoep has since passed, but the love and comfort that image evokes still resonates with me.
-
Check out Miss Happy......this is what you get when she just wakes up.......LO.
-
-
I've been checking back, but haven't seen any news on how Stella is doing. Is she home yet and making a miraculous recovery?
-
June, thank ;you so much..........yes STella is home..I thought I had pictuers on here.......amazingly she is doing well, and they are shocked at her recovery.....my daughter got the first bill yesterday, thank God for dog insurance......it was $8,500.......and she has another one c;oming.....another stay at. Penn for an allergic reaction to her antio-botic.....they keot her overnight, and that bill is coming around $1,200.....
So miss Stella is ok, and like I always say "till the next time".....here she is in the family room on an aerobed with my daughter at night cause she can't go up the steps or jump off the bed.....LOL
-
Glad to hear Stella is doing ok.
-
My daughter took the sheets off to wash them ......Stella stepped on the bed without any protection, and her claw put a pin hole in it.......my daughter didn't know it......slow leak, and this morning she woke up on the floor....along with Stella.......LOL.........my. SIL patched it before he left for work this morning.......so far its holding.........REALLY STELLA!!!!!!!!!!
-
lol Stella is a funny girl!!!!
-
So glad Stella is on the road to recovery. Maybe she needs a manicure?
My Kirby came down with a case of Round Worm, so he had to get treatment for that. Vet said it is quite common and is found in areas where other animals potty. Kirby now wears shoes. It is quite funny to hear his clip clop sound when he walks. Plus a real learning curve to get them on him by myself.
-
LOL..........shoes.........Stella was wormed while they had her at Penn........Stella needs shoes to walk around the kitchen floor cause she slips and falls all the time.........normally her nails are short, but guess with all the crap going on they hven't had them done in a while.....
-
Ducky, I've been away for a while, but wanted to say, I'm so sorry to hear about Brutus and all of Stella's troubles. So glad that she is doing well now. And OMG,, the bills,, eeek,,, so glad your daughter has pet insurance!!
-
Thanks Glenn.........so far so good
-
Hi all. I don't post here often, but read every day. Love seeing everyone's pups. Asking for good thoughts for my boy Chance. He turned 11 in April. His breathing has become more labored recently. Took him to the vet this am. They think he has Laryngeal paralysis, which will require surgery eventually
-
sensitive... hugs to you and Chance. I am always amazed at the things that can go wrong, makes me sad in sympathy.
-
Oh Sensi, so sorry to hear about Chance's health issue
Hugs to you and your sweet boy.
-
Sensi - So sorry to hear of Chance's health challenge. How extensive is the surgery and is Chance healthy otherwise? Any possibility you'd be able to take him to Davis University Veterinary School outside of Sac.?
-
duckyb - So glad Stella is still doing well. Yay!
-
Thank you all so much for your love and caring about Stella....she has had her stiches removed, and is doing well.....my daughter is back in her bed, and Stella is as usualy taking up all the room in the king size bed, my daugher and SIL share.....LOL......
Just hope this is the last incident for Stella.....Between this, her 2 ACL surgeries, and all the tests and treatments for her seizures my daughter is going to the poor house......being funny, they have insurance but as we all know it doesn't take care of it all..but every little bit helps......all they care ab out is STella......and her well being.....many have said she is crazy......just never tell her that, if you value your life....LO
