We are looking for bloggers
We are looking for bloggers! If you are interested in writing about how you respond to some of the challenges of living with metastatic breast cancer, we would be interested in hearing from you and sharing your writings in our blog area (http://community.breastcancer.org/blog).
Here are some topics that come to mind along the lines of "How do you do it?"
Some ideas:
Staying connected to others (managing the isolation factor)
When possible, keeping cancer on the back burner and living life up front
Asking for what you need/learning to delegate
We are open to your thoughts and suggestions, and greatly appreciate your contributions. If you have an idea for a blog piece, please PM the Mods. Please include a phone number where our blog editor can reach you.
NOTE TO MEMBERS WHO HAVE WRITTEN IN: Please check your email spam folders for responses!

I have a blog at http://thecolorofhopeblog.com and would be happy you let you all use it. I'm on my 8th line now with stage 4. Stage 2B 8/2008 and stage 4 6/2014 liver, lungs, bones, and, now, brain.

I'd be interested in contributing, as well. I'm at the beginning of this Stage IV diagnosis and still sorting it out, so blogging is helpful. I've kept a blog through my two previous diagnoses but haven't yet picked it back up - maybe it's time

Had a blog my first time around on Wordpress (robynmarkson.wordpress
When I was diagnosed with metastatic disease in 2014, I decided not to blog... various reasons.
I'd be interested in blogging for this site about my experience... I've been able to keep this a secret from my 11 & 13 yr old thus far. Can blog about that if interested.
My BS degree is in journalism so I'm a schooled writer.

I would love to contribute - I write a blog Go Home Cancer, You're Drunk (gohomecancer.com), though haven't posted in awhile as treatment lately has taken priority over everything. I'm 41 and living with stage IV met breast cancer, triple negative - mets in bones, liver, lungs, lymph nodes.
Excited to participate!

Hi Kari:
I'll be returning to my home in Bethesda on June 4th--I'm MBC to the bones and belong to two support groups and a book club at the HOPE Connection in Bethesda--off Rockville Pike, near the Beltway. If you've not been there, please check out these free resources.
We don't have good internet at this RV campground, so if you ever want to talk, call me: 301.785.7619

I would be honored if you would highlight my blog. I was dx de novo at the age of 38 and have been fighting this beast for the past 3 1/2 years. I started my blog last year and have reached 4000 people in 25 countries so far. I am open, honest and sometimes funny. I have received a lot of positive feedback. Informative and supportive and inspiring are some the words I have had my blog described as. My blog helps me get it all out and I have helped others understand and get through hard times as well. Please feel free to check it out! Many thanks Krista

slepeint~ I have just come to learn of your passing on June 12, 2017. I am truly sorry for your family, and want you to know, you will not be forgotten, you're a beautiful person and woman. Smile could light up a room. I just find comfort in knowing you're not going to be worrying about your 8lines of treatment anymore. Now you're an angel. A beautiful lovely angel. I will miss you. ~M~ May your family find peace in remembering your loving caring, and kind ways....forever.💐🌹🌷

Hi Moderators:
I wrote fr you in 2014 when you were looking for contributions from around the world. I was diagnosed with metatastic recurrent breast cancer August 22 this summer. I started my first blog ever back in 2012 soon after my first diagnosis. I was rarely posting other than to update people. But with this latest adventure, I am back at it. I seem to take forever to write each post but always I have a big sense of happiness and relief after. It is definitely therapeutic for me.

I have been blogging over the last few years at beingstillinthestorm.blogspot.com I mostly update on my condition and the 'living' list that I have been crossing off.
-
I certainly never truly understood why they call it a battle, until i had to join the battle. It's wayyyy more then just a state of mind like i always thought. We need more of those centered topics in the world to help people better understand. I can try and contribute on that one if anyone writing something similar.
