My sister kept teasing us about seeing NeNe's; a type of goose that is the Hawaii state bird. We did finally see one, but we took this as a joke for her

Why do cameras want to break down right before holidays????? Maybe I can get it going today. Love the pictures that have been posted lately.

To post a picture, I open up 2 internet windows. In the first window, I have the BCO thread I want to add to. I click the "reply" button on the last post, not "quick reply".
In the other internet window, I go to:
http://www.tinypic.com/
Make sure you spell this correctly...otherwise you could end up at an adult site!!!
In the BCO thread, I type the message I want to add, then i click on the tinypic window, and upload the image from my PC that I want to add, by hitting the "browse" button to find it, then pressing "upload".
Once you have uploaded the image, you will see three links.
To post here, you need to highlight the middle link, "for forums and bulletin boards" then copy the link, and paste it after your text for your post.
(These instructions were posted on another thread, so I copy and pasted them here for you. Good luck. If you still can't figure it out...let us know and we'll help you again).

These are my boys - and a visitor....my boys are 16 and 19 lbs. - so that peacock is pretty big!
He sat there for almost an hour...the boys ended up getting bored... -
Kelly and snowmen...your kids are beautiful!! What great pictures!
-
Ginny, I had a peacock fly up into one of my trees last summer. He was about 25' or so up into the tree. They make an aweful hinking sound
-
bump
-
Cheryl,
They do make a lot of noise - I thought someone had a parrot in the neighborhood until my DH told me it was the peacock! He went from the side yard where the boys spotted him and then around the back and the boys followed it there. I couldn't believe how long he stayed there! He was beautiful though...
Ginney -
OK going to sound like a moron here, but are peacocks
wild in your area or is this someone's pet gone wild?
Cool photos
Deb C -
I think they are wild - I've seen several in surrounding neighborhoods walking around the front yards - I didn't realize they could be - the last ones I saw were at a winery that also raised them.
I was amazed how big it was!! -
We had a peahen in our yard. All of a sudden she showed up. We named her Peaky and she stayed with us and ate our dog's food and our cats' food for close to a year. Then she moved on to the neighbors. I don't know where she is now but she wasn't wild. She was being raised in little petting zoo near our house and had escaped. The owners said they'd come and take her but they never did!
