shepkitty,
You're worse than Chevy!!
-
Whhhoooo me??? Misbehave??? 😇
I lay the blame on Loverly for not being here.
It's Loverly's fault!
-
Righttt
-
Would you believe thread members stayed up in the wee hours doing this............well this is an INSOMNIACS thread.
-
Teka.........
-
Peace sisters
-
Oh so precious......okay!
-
Jazzy, always the peacemaker.
-
Teka- for sure, everyone always bickering in the family and I had to break it up and change the conversation!
My goal for 2017 is to have new experiences. How about you?
-
That's a hard question to answer, but I do love to eat out and go on day trips. I'm not hard to please!
-
What? wait....What? I've missed pictures? Criminy, get on with my life and I miss all the fun back here. Sheesh [plops down in the middle of the Insomniacs and fold my hands, with an expectant expression]
-
Teka I did just that today. It was a sunny day and melting a little, a perfect day for a ride outside the city to a diner decorated 1950's style , I had a fried chicken burger and some homemade chips. I enjoy the spur of the moment plans.
I have seen some of Shep pictures, she is very naughty.
Mamma is that your new wig, it is very flattering on you.
Junie hope you are feeling better

Shep - With my left hip reconstruction & the right hip replacement, plus the three revisions, I've always had to take pre-med antibiotics before dental appts for the first 2 years. Bacteria that is stirred up during dental procedures can enter the bloodstream and go to the new joints. However, now that I am immuno-compromised from the Ibrance, I have to take the antibiotics every visit. Fortunately, I only have had to see the dentist twice a year for cleaning. I don't have dental insurance, so I make sure to brush & floss carefully to hopefully avoid the dentist as much as possible.
Don't blame your mischief on Loverly. You come by it honestly, so embrace it. Besides you're never mean spirited.
Considering where we are (on BCO), I don't think anyone here would think it weird for you to compliment Smaarty's knitted knockers! Now in any other setting, people might not be so open minded.
Sensi - Hoping you have a enjoyable New Year holiday. Do you work this weekend or do you get to stay home with Chance and stay warm?
Lookie - Thanks, I am feeling a bit better. Still coughing, but with the nebulizer treatments I am able to keep my lungs clearer.
Hello Queenie! Nice to see you. How is school going?
Susan - Feeling any better? How's DH?
Weather report for Oregon this coming week is that we will have temps in the teens & 20's for the high. Spokane, WA is supposed to have -9 on Tuesday and -14 on Wednesday in the daytime. BRRRR!
Teka - You are funny. What is the drinking thread?
MammaRay - Nice wig! How do you like it?
WildT - The pillow idea is a really neat one. Great gift idea.

The Kirbmeister with the breeder's Son. Only 3.5 days now! Can't wait to snuggle that fur face.
I went to the store today to buy a bell for Kirby's collar, so I know where he is all the time and don't step on him. Kirby is about 4.5 to 4.75 lbs at this point.
-
my SIL has to take antibiotics every time she sees the dentist after she had a knee replacement. I asked (same dentist) and he said I didn't need to. I have a dentist appt the day before the sx. Wonder if I should cancel it?
Where's Loverly, she should be back by now, said it was 1 week. Must be having fun with the girls since school is still out.
-
Smaarty ~ Will the surgeon give you antibiotics during the surgery? If so, maybe you could have the dentist give an RX to take that would cover pre and post-op? I'd get the RX and keep the appointment. You might not feel up to sitting the chair after SX. Plus, you'd have it out of the way and not have to worry about re-scheduling.
MammaRay ~ Was that pic of you in the pretty new hair? You changed your avatar again and now it's gone
Queenie ~ The uh-hum, "pictures" ..... you'll have to ask Teka. I won't talk about them anymore; Teka got a little upset with me. Bless her heart, she's a grown woman and what she does in "private" is really no concern of ours. 🙄 *I'm sure that's what Loverly would say.
Lookie and JunieB ~ I am so disappointed with you two girls!
-
Yeah, MommaRay, I just want to make it to 2018, too...provided I have decent QOL!
What's everyone doing for New Year's Eve? One of my oldest and dearest friends is coming over to spend the night with us (no one should be driving back home across a bridge on New Year's Eve with all the sobriety check points). We're having champagne and some sort of seafood. Hopefully we won't pass out b4 midnight!
-
Lita - I'll be home where it is warm and cozy. However, I do have to do laundry tomorrow daytime. Doesn't that sound like a wild time?
-
Not why I moved here!!!!!!Talk about
-
She is so cold, her fingers froze! Spookers...! So you mean that all you panty-waists in Florida think it's COLD when it is above freezing? Put on a muck-luck! Get you some duds that keep you warm!
I see a 72 up there? It was so nice here yesterday, that we walked up to Starbucks & I sat outdoors in the SUN! (With my coat on) But it was so FuN! Some gal walking her dog by me hollered at her dog because he almost jumped on the little table I was sitting at...Hah! He remembered I gave him dog treats last time I saw him.... So I said "Oh wait, I think he remembers"... So he got a couple more.... HE loves me anyway... See, whenever we go anywhere I carry a few dog snacks.... ! Come to think about it, we buy dog snacks, cat treats, and food for our neighbor's cat. Took those Chickens over the rest of the Apple Cobbler that we couldn't eat any more of. And the squirrels got their share too!
Sheppers you were saying something on the last 2 pages, and now I forgot!
Anyway you gals.... Have a wonderful New Years Eve... and behave! Don't go gettin' all snickered up so you can't drive.... xoxo

Smaarty: I would call your surgeon and let them know you have a dental app't the day before surgery, and let the surgeon make the call whether to cancel dentist or not. I didn't see what type of surgery you are having,, but there is always a preop dose of antibiotic before the first incision. (usually IV in the hospital). Depending on the type of surgery (and what he/she thinks about the dental app't) the antibiotic may be continued after surgery if needed.
-
Pretty cold here this morning. Gotta make a grocery list in a bit. Will finish taking down the rest of the Christmas decorations today.
-
Lookforward,
You had My kind of day!
JunieB,

-
MammaRay,
I am always weepy on New Year's Eve, but manage to be okay on New Year's Day!!
-
shep, I'm having the implants removed and going flat. I always bring home antibiotics and I'm sure they give some during sx. I'm going to cancel the dentist and reschedule for February. It's just a cleaning, so no big deal to move it.
Morning all. Almost came here at 3 in the morning. Couldn't get back to sleep, stupid dreams about sx, sewing retreats and Trump. Ugh. No comments on the last one please, there's 2 threads on BCO for politics. There's should be some way to make your brain shut off in the middle of the night!
No plans here for tonight. DH is making chili and we're renting a movie or two.
Be safe out there if you're partying! 🍾🎉
-
Best wishes for your upcoming surgery AND a good night's sleep Smaarty.
-
wishing you all a very happy and healthy new year

.
Hello ladies! Just wanted to pop in and wish everyone a wonderful and safe New Year's Eve!
Work is keeping me super busy and I even pulled a double (big mistake). Learning to listen to my body. I work early tomorrow, but am going to spend time with friends tonight. Plan on having a couple/few drinks and then will Uber home. 2016 was rough with grandma passing and breast cancer. Very thankful to have found you all! Wishing you all the best in 2017
