    Hugs Patty.. sorry you have to go through this. I so understand why you wouldn't want to go to the ER.. my place of last desperation too.

    We head to Portland tomorrow for more carboplatin and 2-5 inches of snow.. yippee. I really don't mind driving in it if everyone else was used to it, but they aren't. Snow in the valley is unusual. I grew up in upstate NY and Pennsylvania so we can drive in snow no problem. Wish me luck. I'll be praying for your D and N/V to stop and the pain to be controlled.

    Update from Patty, 8:15 pmher time:

    I am feeling a little better tonight. Got some food to stay down ( ice cream ). Yum.

    Both ds's were home sick with me today and ds1 was yesterday also. I had mo appt yesterday and he had to just feel bad snd wait 2 hours for my appt then I had to take him to dr. Very exhausting day. ds2 good to go. Ds1 did good all day but been down last hour nausea, horrible headache

    Mominator - I'm sure there is a more eloquent way to say how much your loving care is appreciated, how thoughtful you are to check on Patty and how kind you are to share your updates with us. 💗

    Rosevalley - Hoping that you had a safe trip to and from Portland. Snow driving is scary when folks aren't used to it ...and sometimes even more scary if they are too used to it!

    Patty - Mama Bear watching over her sick "cubs" while being sick herself... .. Prayers for all of you to feel better and be able to enjoy some nice time together this weekend. (((hugs)))

    Momalthetime- I need to travel to Portland every week for chemo. Been doing this for months. DH drives bless his heart.

    Hello, I send Patty love ❤️ and prayers from all of us every day. Here's the text I from Patty (4:45 ET/3:45 CT) today.


    Hey there. Having a hard day. Can't remember if I told you, but fits she after my pet scan at home I fell. down the stairs. Was fine went upstairs to talk to ds1 when i turned around everything went black and down I went. No idea how many stairs but ouch. Felt like I just bruised buttocks and tail Bone. Yesterday was worse and today is really really bad. Afraid I broke my tail bone. Praying it's just a bruise. Will talk to mo about it in my appt wed to discuss pet scsn refills.

    Thank you so very much for checking on me and encouraging me so often.
