Cristine (cjanet)

Does anybody know why Cristine (cjanet) hasn't been added to the In Memorium thread? Was that something she wanted, or maybe everybody thought somebody else would do it?

Just curious. She was pretty active here and I've only seen mention of her passing briefly on one thread.

I had no idea she passed. Cjanet was diagnosed shortly after me and we joined this mets forum around the same time. I am so sad about this. Sad for her kids, family. Wow. Thanks for calling attention to her passing. Many others may not know either.

I am very sad to hear this as well. May she rest in peace.

Members are added to the memorial thread when someone posts to that thread and Celia then adds them. However, if someone has first hand knowledge that a member does not wish to be memorialized, one hopes that would be respected.

So sorry to hear about Cristina. I met her when she came to Mskcc for a second opinion. I hate BC!!!

Stefanie - This is very thoughtful of you. I never heard anything about Cristina not wanting to be included in the In Memoriam thread. I think she should be. We owe her that tribute. I will gladly do it. Let me know. Cristina had a very special place in my heart as to many others.
