Anyone do eyebrow tattoos?

Having done chemo before, I promised myself if I ever had to loose all my hair again, I would get eyebrow tattoos. I know if I do want to do it, I need to do it now before my treatments start. I've been thinking about doing it for a while anyway as my eyebrows never came back nice and full. I know it's costly, but I'm in the "I can't take it with me" mode right now! :) So, anyone try it? Happy? Worst decision you ever made? Not worth it? Would love to hear about it.

I have been doing "permanent cosmetics" for several years now and love love love this. Eyebrows only - tried eyeliner tattoos once and found it def. not worth it. Was actually pretty painful to apply and didn't last. My eyebrows look totally natural - I went with a light color. The key I think is to find a good technician. My lady is uber-careful to use natural products and works a lot with cancer patients. SU

I was at a "lash bar" today and they were offering this, a Japanese technique. It sounded painful so I didn't go for it but the woman showed me her brows and it looked really natural. I bought some lash and brow "conditioners" instead.

I had considered doing my eyebrows but never did it because after chemo 6 years ago my hair grew in gray and I didn't want to have dark brown eyebrows and gray hair when I stopped coloring (which I recently did). Anyone know if they can do dark gray?

Thanks for the input ladies. I'm definitely leaning toward doing it. Good point about grey hair, hadn't thought of that. I guess I'll keep coloring. I'll let you know what it's like if I do it.

I got my one done as original chemo left mine pretty bald. Its permenant makeup. You get it done and they draw each individual hair on. Looked amazing when finished. Fab shape. They turn to scabs but you can't pick at them. When they heal you will see the pigment underneath. You need to get a top up as original one needs another layer to keep pigment. I need my top up but have lovely shape and add a little pencil now.

I had the eyeliner tattooed as well as the brow. Lilly's right, I had a touch up after the original one. You get up in the morning and voilà. Gray is available.

I also use smart brow every day, but as I have less and less eyebrow hair, I worry that it will soon just look like I am drawing on my skin. Probably eyebrow tats are somewhere in my future.
