Jill Cohen's Dance with Cancer Has Ended

For those that have read Jill Cohen's blog, Dancing with Cancer, or know her from the many articles and features on living with mbc for years, it saddens me to tell you that I read an update on her blog from her husband that Jill's dance with cancer ended yesterday after more than 13 years of living with metastatic cancer.

She's been a source of inspiration and hope to so many. I imagine her dancing across the stars now.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. From the beautifully written tribute, one can readily conclude that Jill was an exceptional human being and humanitarian who was loved by many and whose memory will continue in the hearts of all who knew her.

I wasn't familiar with the blog but am nevertheless saddened by this. I am going to check out her blog now. 13 years is a great run but still too short all at the same time.

I knew Jill from about forever as she was co-manager with Alexandra of Cancer Lynx at acor.org's Club Mets group.

That group has largely petered out there and also at smart patients.com

Now Jill is gone, it really feels like the end of an era.

Shine on in our hearts Jill and Club Mets.
