My mom has passed

I know that my mother, "Alphabet", didn't post very much but she read here for hours every day soaking in your stories and knowledge. She passed on Friday after a battle with pneumonitis and ARDS brought on by Afinator. As her daughter I am grateful for your support and knowledge provided to my mom. Keep fighting the fight ladies!!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

    Karen, I am so, so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother to breast cancer 11 years ago, and I miss her everyday.

    Karen, I'm so sorry. While she didn't post much, I certainly recognize your Mother's screen i.d., and I am so sorry to read your news.     It is so heartbreaking when we lose one of our sisters to this disease. Thank you for taking the time during your grief to let us know. Our condolences to you and your family. It is nice to know that she found comfort in this site. I can only hope that someone's words gave her peace. My condolences.

    Karen, I'm so sad to hear your Mom has passed. I also experienced pneumonitis brought on by Afinitor and it was scary. I'm sorry that your Mom went through that and it weakened her so. This is a terrible disease. I pray that you find comfort and peace and that the beautiful memories of your Mom give you strength.

The thing that is nice about the forum is that you can contribute as much or little as you feelcomfortable with and either way, you will get something from it.
